"When we first checked in a typed notice on the front door that the pool was closed. It’s why we chose this hotel over others in the area! At 0118 a hotel employee attempted to enter my room where myself and my daughter were sleeping due to a TV noise complaint. The only thing that stopped that man was the chain on the door and it was that noise that woke me. No phone call to the room, never heard a knock despite him saying he did, just walked right in! My TV was on low volume (8) exactly I...

"Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."

"Loved this little place! Beautiful property and view.
The breakfast wasn’t anything special and continental style. With a restaurant on site it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast that was cooked.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We asked for tea at night and the attendant brought us a tray with a tea pot, honey, cups with saucers…very thoughtful touch and appreciated.
