"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals.
Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.

"Accomodation was comfortable in a traditional old pub building with narrow steep stairs. Room had a good bed and both bedroom and bathroom were modern and clean.

Pub meals in the evening , again, were excellent with large portions, a wide menu variety and were very nice."
"We arrived before the check-in time and dropped our luggage there, wich was placed in our room when we finally got to the room. The staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel is located by the entrance to the Cathedral, near stores, pubs and restaurants. Comfortable clean room. Ours was an ensuite. I would definitely recommend it. "
"Old hotel needs refurbishment. My room had uneven floor that made noises and the carpet needs to be replaced. The curtains didn't block the sunshine, which caused me to wake up very early. Besides the poor condition of the hotel, it was cheap and the location was good. "
