"From the very beginning, the Balsam Mountain Inn sang to me. I'd never been here before. I wanted a bed and breakfast near the Blue Ridge Parkway; and, yes, something affordable. The Inn is a HALF MILE from the Parkway, and the price was right for our mid-week getaway. Such an interesting, historic place. Between Waynesville & Sylva. So relaxing!"

"Lambuth Inn was a perfect stop for our family. The staff was very helpful, the room was very cool with amazing views of the mountains! Rooms were updated but still had the old time feel. Walking around the lake was by far the best part! Definitely would recommend and return."

"Older motel but it's well maintained and well managed. Appears to American owned or at least American operated. Got a jacuzzi tub room and we ran out of hot water long before it reached the safe fill level. Should've gotten a creek view room instead. Parking lot gets tight but it works. Will stay here again."
