Hi Alison,We have people checking out from 7am (it can be even earlier) and as you can understand in such a small hotel it is not economically feasible to have staff at work for an additional 5 hours prior to opening 7 days a week and this has not been an issue for the last 6years.There is someone on the premises 24hours a day which covers all emergency situations.

Thank you for your review Jean, it is very much appreciated as was the correspondence between us :-)I did as I said and we now provide large bottles of hand wash, bath soak, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

Hi, Very little has changed over the years, with plenty of parking usually available with 60 yards of the property.The only real change is we stopped breakfasts over 1 year ago due to it no longer being financially viable for a small venue like ours in the current financial climate.I hope you have been able to find suitable accommodation near by.

We have changed laundry suppliers and have had issue with timeliness of the clean bedding arriving, sometimes not arriving until the afternoon. This has since been resolved.The room had been fully cleaned.I believe you left the hotel for a short while and your room was made up immediately you left, as the clean bedding had arrived shortly beforehand.

I am taking the opportunity to expand on your comments - which I would not usually do, but feel it necessary in this instance.It specifically mentions on Expedia that breakfast is not available. We stopped this around 8 months ago, although have made exceptions if requested in certain circumstances. You booked and paid for a specific room - which is the room you were allocated and shown to. All our rooms are very different in design and size, as per the photos on Expedia. You were aware all our room were booked by your family - we did not allocate rooms, they were chosen by you and by your family.On being shown your room - I personally asked if you would like your room to have a full clean and laundry change for the 3rd of 4th night of your stay, you said not to bother you would be fine. I informed you that if you needed anything, supplies or clean towels to ask the girls at anytime. When you arrived you were given complimentary alcoholic drinks of your choice while you waited less than 10 minutes for your room to be finished.I object to your description of the sports bar - and yes there was a Service Dog in the sports bar, along with people of "all" ages, enjoying sports TV, and playing pool.You arrived back to the hotel (8 of you) at 9pm on the Sunday evening demanding (in a very abrasive manner) that I open the restaurant and the kitchen and provide meals for the 8 of you. Which I did, and which you were not charged for. One of your company run up a bar bill and left without paying too.We are a small hotel of just 7 rooms, situated in a very small village.We are licensed until midnight during the week and 1am over the weekend, this is when our bars are open and staffed. To expect/demand for us to staff the kitchen and front of house, with appliances hot ready to provide service for food and drink outside of our usual opening hours 7 days a week is neither viable for such a small establishment, and not reasonable to expect it.We always welcome feedback, as everyone will have varied opinions and we value them - but they need to be an honest account of the situation and circumstances.

Thank you for your comments.We stopped breakfast many months ago as in these days unfortunately it is no longer viable.

Sorry about the loo roll :-(There are bottles of body and hair wash in the bath/shower rom - hence only the small conditioner supplied. We are moving away for all these small packages to more environmentally friendly and when the small conditioners run our - they will be large sizes too.
