Historic 3 Bedroom Home in Downtown Cody!

Welcome to Cody, Wyoming! By choosing this home for your vacation, you and your guests can enjoy all the comforts of home, while only 1-2 blocks from many of Cody's top restaurants and attractions. This fully furnished, 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 6 people, and is the perfect size for everyone, from two people to a whole family. It comes with all the amenities that you will need for a comfortable stay. Although you will be very close to several restaurants, we know how nice it is to have a home-cooked meal, and we have equipped the kitchen with all the cooking supplies that you will need. There is plenty of room for you and your fellow travelers to sit down for dinner at home, as we have a separate dining area that seats six, plus all the dishes and kitchen wares you will need! If you feel like you want to have a barbecue, use the grill that we have provided out back. Be sure to take advantage of the beautiful backyard by playing some of the yard games that we have provided, including croquet or ladder ball.

The 3 bedrooms feature high-quality, clean, white bed linens and towels to help you relax and feel at home. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed, night stand, lamps on both sides, a dresser, and a closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds, night stand, table lamp, dresser, and closet. The third bedroom has a full bed, night stands, bedside lamps, dresser, and large closet. All bedrooms have alarm clocks and are equipped with USB chargers for your devices. Both the upstairs and the downstairs have full bathrooms, ready to accommodate all guests.

After a long day of exploring Cody, be sure to sit down and relax in front of the flat-screen TV on the plush leather sofa, and watch some of the movies that we have provided. We have provided treats on the house to help make those nights in extra cozy and like home! You can also play some of the games that are in the home, using the special game table in the living room!

This beautifully decorated home is located just one block away from the historic Irma Hotel (built by Buffalo Bill himself!), and is within two blocks of several of Cody's other top attractions, including Cody Dug Up Museum, Dude Rancher's Association, and City Park, which boasts miniature golf and outdoor concerts throughout the summer. Buffalo Bill Center of the West is a short four and a half block walk away, and will keep you busy with its five different museums!

Several of Cody's best restaurants are also within two blocks of this wonderfully located home, making it easy to walk out the door and explore all that Cody has to offer. Although ample parking is provided at the home, it is easy to walk everywhere you'd like to go. Even the Cody Nite Rodeo Bus stop is only one block away at the Irma Hotel, making it easy to attend the Cody Nite Rodeo. Come and stay and Rumsey Retreat, and learn for yourself how amazing Cody, Wyoming can be!

Cody Stay

Our last 2 days of visiting Glacier and Yellowstone were spent in Cody. Home was so conveniently located to explore and experience historic surroundings and attractions like Irmas, Buffalo Bill Cody and the Old Time Museum along with shops to explore. Home was clean and very well maintained. When we accidently loced ourselves out at a secondary door the owner promptly arrived to assist. Home has everything you need to enjoy on your vacation or travels.

Fantastic! Amazing! Wonderful!

I cannot praise this home and its owner enough. From easy check in to easy check out our week rental went on without any issues. The house was nicely set up including the basket of small snacks on the table that we enjoyed after a full day of travel. The linens were clean and there were extra in the closet. Everything was clean, well decorated, and easy to use. The backyard was adorable with table, chairs, grill and a fire pit area. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, site-seeing tours. Absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend. Thanks so much for making this part of our trip easy.

This home is so close to town, everywhere we went we walked. We stayed during the Fourth of July so parking would have been hard to find. We also walked to The Buffalo Bill museum and park.

Cute house in a great spot!

This cute house is in the main drag of Cody and is in walking distance of lots of cool restaurants and shops. The home is a bit quirky in that the downstairs room which I would call the master is the smallest and has a tiny bathroom. Both of our big suitcases would not fit open in the room on the floor. The beds are very comfortable. The home has 2 A/C window units, 1 covering the entire downstairs and 1 covering the entire upstairs. The house was hot because it was 90+ in Cody while we were there. It could probably use units in both upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bedroom as well. The home also has no ā€œhouse bookā€ with explanations or recommendations for restaurants or cool things to do. I also think that having to strip the beds and towels and take out every piece of trash in the home is a bit excessive, we pay a cleaning fee for that.

Comfortable Home

Pros: The home was great and our family felt at home there. The place was very clean and the location was within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Great family space on the main floor for games and to be together. Cons: The upstairs double bed was very hard (and I like firm beds), not sure about the rest of the beds. The wifi was not great, could not even get Netflix to play properly. May not be just this house, may be the whole town, but not sure. Overall, we would rent here again if we were in Cody again.

Charming House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was just a block off the Main Street so everything was convenient and the Buffalo Museum was a short walk away. The pictures of the house accurately reflect the condition of the home and the owners were very pleasant to work with.

Great Stay!

The home was great and suited our family perfectly. We just needed a quick getaway before school started and it was just what we needed. Close to downtown attractions, shops and eateries. We will stay again !

Great location!

This place is excellent for a large group of 6. Convenient to walk to many places in Cody. Host was gracious and communicated well with us. The only thing that could have been better is that some things could have been stocked better. Instruction book could be updated as some things weren't where they were supposed to be, for example the instruction booklet for electronics, could use some measuring cups too! Also it does get very hot upstairs in one of the bedrooms. An AC unit was in one but not the other, gets very hot even with the window open at night and a fan going.. But we did enjoy our stay and would do it again.

Wonderful house and quiet neighborhood

Very nice. However, glad we came late in the summer when it wasn't too warm as I did not notice in the property ad that there was no air conditioning. Recommend this be made very clear in the ad (or even better add air conditioning to the home). One other recommendation is to add a grab bar in the downstairs bath/shower. Otherwise, house was exactly as shown and very nice. Would stay again.

Great house in Cody!

Loved this house! It is so cute and decorated so pretty - cozy and comfy but still plenty of space for our group of 5, and well stocked. This location is perfect and an easy walk to everything in downtown Cody (and I donā€™t like to walk far!). We used Cody as a break between the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone parts of our trip and took advantage of the great local activities. Kambrie (owner) does a great job of checking in and making sure you have everything you need. Would definitely recommend!

A great house and location

We really loved our stay in Cody. This house is so cute, clean, and in the perfect spot to walk to attractions. Big kitchen and lots of table space to have family dinner. We had cool weather and were comfortable, but I do think itā€™s worth noting that there is no air conditioning on the upper level (we may have been hot up there if it wasnā€™t so cool outside). However, there are fans in each room. Everything else about this house was perfect, including the host who was very thoughtful and easy to work with. We even had 4 deer who lounged in the backyard each day and were so much fun to watch. We highly recommend this rental!

A perfect home away from home!

Our family traveled in from St. Augustine, Florida to spend our holiday exploring the area and feel we could not have picked a better home! It was our first Christmas traveling and we had a lot of coordinating to do to pull off Santa's visit! Kambrie made it easy for us prior to our stay and when we walked in to see a beautifully decorated home for the holiday, our hearts were full! The house is in a great location. Our week long stay included walks to shopping and dining in downtown Cody. We had a scenic drive to the East entrance of Yellowstone National Park, that from this location was just a pleasant, easy drive! The home was clean, well equipped and accommodated our family of 5 nicely! If you are looking for a comfortable home, conveniently located in downtown Cody, then you have found it!

We loved the house and its position in historical Cody. Just a short walk to Main st, the location was ideal. There was everything you might need to make your stay the best. An added bonus - the deer that visited and definitely made themselves comfortable in the garden!!

Very nice, clean, comfortable and spacious house.

We traveled from Michigan trailering our street glide. Got to do some spectacular riding thru Yellowstone and the Beartooth Pass and more. It was great being able to come back to a big house with all amenities instead of a motel room. I was able to put the bike in the garage. Great place to stay. The only minor negative was no shower in upstairs tub. Our host was great. We would definitely stay here again.

A historical and private property.

This is a charming historic 1910 restoration. We could walk to downtown Cody and avoid the parking problem. The owners were easy to communicate with and personally helped me. I spent 3 comfortable nights in this private setting.
