"The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. They were also in their 80s with a bad back. Would’ve never made it up to the kitchen, which was about 10 steps left. I wish we could’ve seen the reviews, but it...

"This was an amazing stay. If you love the wild and aren't afraid of potentially sharing your room with critters at night, definitely stay here. However, they are not using Vrbo and were not aware that we had made a reservation as a volunteer worker had set up this listing. Go to their website treevanacr.com if you want to get in contact with them and book your stay. They were so accommodating even though we took them by surprise. Thanky you both so much!"

"This was one of our favourite places to stay so far during our travels in Costa Rica. We have been travelling the country for over 3 months now and we were very pleased to have such friendly and accommodating hosts with a beautiful place for us to stay. The property is clean and comfortable, and the surrounding forest, plants and animals was exactly what we love and appreciate about Costa Rica. Totally recommend this place."

"The property was gorgeous and right by Playa Negra. The Host was great with communicating with us and very helpful. She even gave us options of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as things to do around and options for transportation. I would definitely stay here again!"

"When you see that this VRBO has such high ratings, there is a reason. It was fabulous! The property is as beautiful as the pictures. "Good location to explore the region, but the place is more appropriate for local (Costa Rica) families as there is a pool used by children and adults from afternoon till late evening. Also they don’t give you any information about the places to visit in the region…. most of my questions got: “I don’t know” as answers and they were all simple like where to park and etc."

"O Hotel tem uma estrutura muito boa com 3 piscinas e um restaurante muito bom. Destaque positivo para o maravilhoso café da manhã super completo e saboroso, o atendimento excepcional de toda a equipe do hotel e a comodidade de ser de frente para praia. É um hotel caro, portanto não poderia pecar na manutenção e limpeza da parte externa. A piscina principal que é de frente para o mar ficou interditada os 3 dias que ficamos no hotel, o deck externo de acesso para a recepção e para o restaurante estava sempre sujo, além disso o chuveiro da praia não estava funcionando, as cadeiras de praias estavam sujas e a grama de acesso a praia com galhos e folhas. Pelo preço caro o Hotel não pode pecar nesses detalhes. Na parte da praia os móveis estavam sujos assim como a terceira piscina de frente para praia. Na parte do quarto, há necessidade de manutenção e atualização, a porta da sacada não fecha direito, o ar condicionado fica muito frio ou muito quente, o chuveiro não sai muita água e o quadro estragado com a tela soltando. O hotel tem um grande potencial, mas tem que melhorar nos detalhes."
