"Although this property is a little far from “touristy”attractions, it is exactly what one hopes for on vacation. The house and property has all the amenities you could hope for; hot tub, community pool, beach and more. We loved spending time together in the backyard and watching the fish jump as the sun set. Our family enjoyed our stay immensely and my son is already asking when we can come back. "

"My family stayed at this lovely cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed there while there was a hurricane off the coast. So we did encounter some rain, and there were higher tides than normal, so we had to watch the tides to make sure we could get to and from the island when we needed to. "Great place to stay for the weekend. Place was quiet and peaceful. The house furnished well with great amenities. Fishing and kayaking from off the dock. Also life jackets available for the kids for safety as well. Catching crabs off the docks, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. The house has nice deck in the back where we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon and evening activities playing corn hole, and spent good time sitting in front of fire pit was great. "This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. "This was our third trip to this house.....we love the location, it is private and picturesque...we got to see the bald eagles again!!!!!! WE love the 30 second walk to the beach and the calm water of the bay! The local environment is also beautiful...especially the towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock and the local marinas. The home is beautiful. WE hope to return! "
