"I’m mixed on how I feel about this property. While it was well priced and had 5 bedrooms which met our needs, it was not well appointed. It was clearly a budget rental. Things like not having a chair in the bedrooms to sit and put your shoes on for example were not great. The towels were tiny and the poorest quality I’ve ever encountered including hostels in S.E. "Bring earplugs &/or white noise. You’re sharing a home with the hosts, so sounds from their living area leak past interior doors. Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. It was nice to meet their dogs and cats...

"The house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Honestly, just perfect across the board. Hands down the best home we have ever had the opportunity to stay. Phenomenal communication with the Host. The coffee and wine upon arrival was a great touch! We loved the live oak tree in the back yard and the many species of birds and the deer walking nearby too! "Beautiful home! Home was clean and spacious. Comfortable for the 12 of us. Kitchen had everything you could need, and enough for a family of 12. Creek was beautiful and serene. Home is located close to restaurants and grocery stores yet still feels secluded. My only complaints was finding large spiders and ants in the downstairs bedrooms. Expected when in nature I understand, just made the children sleeping in the room uneasy. Thankfully there was bug spray already in the home. Also, neighbors...

"This house was conveniently located to Yosemite (1-1.5 hrs depending) and only a couple hours from Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon. The town of Oakhurst was close enough for restaurants and groceries and gas for the car. The house was pleasant enough, but could use some TLC. The back patio and hot tub were nice for relaxing each evening after spending the day in the park. Communication with the host was good and timely."
