Welcome to the M3 Ranch, a working cattle ranch with a gorgeous newly renovated cottage, the perfect place for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee or late afternoon cocktail sitting on the front porch listening to and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Pigeon River and Smoky Mountains. Take a short stroll down to your private river access. In the evening enjoy the fire-pit, make s’mores, or dinner on the charcoal grill.

Activities abound year-round, hiking, fishing, tubing & rafting in spring, summer and autumn with snow skiing in the winter. If you are looking for outings, Asheville, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Bryson City and Cherokee are just a short drive.

All the rooms in the private cottage have mountain views. The newly completed top-to-bottom renovation includes gas fireplace, luxurious bathroom with dual shower heads & jetted soaking tub. Primary bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and ample closet. The additional room has a futon, dressing table and wardrobe rack. All new appliances in the spacious kitchen and open dining room. We offer free wi-fi, washer & dryer, Roku live television, AC & heat.

This was a great space! We really enjoyed the home, it was very cozy and very clean. It’s not super secluded since it is on a main road, but there is direct access to the river which we also really enjoyed. It’s a good mix of being away from civilization (15-20 minutes to town) but also not way deep in the mountains. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Molly was a really great host and added some extra touches that were really special since she knew we were celebrating my birthday. We will definitely be back.

The property was spotless and filled with all of the comforts of home. Excellent property to bring your pets and the host has them in mind as well. The property is set in a beautiful farm setting with views of the river out the front window while you keep warm in the living room with the propane style wood store. Molly is an excellent host with attention to detail. She is very responsive to all your questions and needs. This is probably the best host we have ever came in contact with. If you are in the area ….. don’t miss out on this property.

The M3 cottage was the perfect romantic getaway for my girlfriend and me. The property was super peaceful and quiet, right on the banks of the pigeon river. The property came with everything we needed and was incredibly clean and cozy. Molly and the property owners were always one call away if we needed anything at all. We highly recommend staying at this property, as the location is the perfect distance away from all of the activities in the area, and the property provide a memorable experience.

Nestled on the edge of the river this cottage was a perfect getaway. Sit on the deck and listen to the rippling music of the water and watch the cows and deer in the fields during the day or take in the stars after dark. Inside, everything was spotless and felt new. The bathroom was amazing. Waynesville and everything you could need is just a 15 min drive although there a few smaller stores just mins away. Would stay again without a second thought.

house and grounds were very clean. the property is not on a main road and very quiet. the house is perfect for two people to stay. This is what we were looking for. The communication with the owners was excellent. if we are in the area again I would stay here again. Thank you Molly for being so accommodating.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful experience here. Although we never met the hosts, we felt their hospitality met us at the door with a warm welcoming of cookies in the greeting basket! My husband and I talked about that homey touch all evening. This home is decorated very simply, yet beautiful. We found the simplicity to be very practical, and the beautiful, simple touches to be welcoming. The views from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom were stunning. It was cozy to lay in bed and look out the window to see the river flowing on by. The front porch was a nice spot to have coffee in the morning, and be greeted with the gentle sounds of the river. Our stay was wonderful, and we'd love to visit again sometime! - Jesse & Abigail

Perfect spot for scenic views and relaxing sounds of the river. Close enough to town for shopping and entertainment while still far enough away to be in God’s country. House was very clean with a comfortable bed, large shower/tub, spacious kitchen and everything you need for an enjoyable stay! We would highly recommend!

Simple luxury

Everything you didn't know you want is here. Wonderful views, privacy, nature, all kitchen and bathroom accessories provided. Yes, the bathroom is quite beautiful. Everything is new and clean. The river view is spectacular with good fishing spots. Restaurants or grocery are only 10-15 minutes away. The host is over accommodating and friendly which is quite a nice change from city life. I will be back, so you better book before I do.

Perfection!

This property is probably the best VRBO we’ve ever had for just the two of us. (It would be a little small, but do-able, our family of four.) The condition and cleanliness of the property are unsurpassed in our experience, and it is beautifully and tastefully appointed. Molly and Rob tried to anticipate all that their guests will need…and then some! Molly and Rob are most gracious and were very accessible to us. We will definitely return.The property is located near the eastern end of the Great Smoky Mountain Expressway. It is about 50 minutes from Cherokee, NC and about an hour from Bryson City. It is very close to Waynesville. In addition to enjoying the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, we also enjoyed hiking the trails of Haywood Community College, which is very close. Also, be sure to visit Presnell’s Market, about five minutes from Molly’s place. Then bring some back and enjoy great food from the deck overlooking the Pigeon River, or walk across the road to the privately owned picnic table on the riverbank! You’ll be glad you did!Highly recommended!!!

Tranquil riverfront cottage

This cottage is adorable and very well taken care of, and the location is wonderful! It is a very easy drive to Waynesville and Asheville. We loved being across the road from the river and even being able to hear the water with windows open while inside. Our dog enjoyed swimming in it and it’s easily accessible for fishing as well. The pictures don’t do the location justice and we are looking forward to staying again. Molly was a spectacular host—VERY quick to respond and accommodating! I will definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Truly a wonderful place to stay! 15 minuets from downtown waynesville with a private creek to play in and everything you could need in the home. The bathroom is luxurious!!!

Gorgeous Get Away

What an absolutely, well maintained property! The unit itself was across a gorgeous creek and had all the necessities to make our trip relaxing. (That tub!!) The location was convenient to Asheville and Lake Junaluska for us, yet secluded enough to allow us to relax and enjoy the natural setting.
