"At 4am the tenant from the connected house(which we didn't know about) was blaring on her hornin the road out front yelling to move out vehicles. She threatened to tow our vehicles and block us in. The night before, I tried to contact the host to find out where we were supposed to park. And he never got back to us. There was hair on the wall and the bathroom and one of the coffee cups and drinking glass had grime and coffee all over it. The blanket that was draped over the back of the couch...

"The house is nice. Very close to the road which wasn’t represented in the picture when booking. Hot tub stopped working on Sat, one of two amenities, outside on the property. Need new towels. Many with rips and holes. Cindy & Victor are very nice folks. Enjoyed our conversations with them when they stopped by a couple times."

The location is unbeatable: right on the lake with mountain views and a private dock, and it made a perfect home base for a show at Cache Creek Winery. The host was excellent, quick to respond with clear check-in instructions, and the place was spotless when we arrived. Comfortable beds, everything we needed for the weekend, and easy to find. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Clear Lake."
