If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We were traveling with 5 adults and 2 children, and the house was perfect. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The rest of the house was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up. The two kids on the trip stayed in the downstairs area with the bunk beds and LOVED having their ā€œownā€ hangout room with a large couch, tv, and ping pong table. The kitchen had all equipment needed to be able to cook meals. However- our favorite area was the porch! We would sit and watch deer, hummingbirds, and other birds/animals come by. We loved our stay and will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

We love staying here. The location is a short distance from downtown and not too far out from getting lost in the forest. We had frequent deer visitors which the kids thoroughly enjoyed feeding. The home is always clean and cozy and enough space to spread out. We did have an incident that occurred on our part where we needed to make contact with the owners and they were quick about responding.

We loved our short stay at this cabin. It was in a beautiful location and was perfect for our family. My only minor complaint is that there was no toaster, but we adjusted. Highly recommend!

From the stunning location to the charming interior decor, this cabin is absolutely beautiful! Itā€™s well-equipped with everything you could need and offers plenty of space. While the downstairs area got a bit chilly, the bedroom with the bunk beds had an electric heater that kept it warm and cozy. It was the perfect family getaway!

This is a great cabin at a beautiful location. Everything was organized and clean when we arrived, and it was both easy to get to it and to check in. We got to see wild horses and deer, and enjoyed being outside by the terrace. But equally enjoyable was being inside with a large group of friends. From ping pong to sitting watching a movie, this cabin accommodated us perfectly. The top bunker wasn't too comfortable for an adult, but also not terrible.

This property had everything we needed and more. The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. We were a party of 9 ranging from 15 year old to 60s. The younger crowd loved hanging downstairs in the game room. They played ping pong and watched movies. The bunk room was perfect for them as well. We all had plenty of space. We loved seeing deer and even horses! There were 2 different types of coffee pots, which I appreciated because we donā€™t love Keurig coffee. Also had a tea kettle. The town was adorable. Some of our crowd was gluten free so Kennabelleā€™s Bakery on Burro St. was amazing with several options. We went there most days of our stay. Oh and Black Bear Coffee, the burrito truck and Mad Jackā€™s barbecue were amazing! I could go on and on.

We had an amazing time! Our children are ages 7 to 22 and they all enjoyed it! There was something fun for everyone. The cabin is beautiful and covered all our needs. The communication with the owners was fast and thorough. We did have an issue trying to leave during the winter storm and Amber was quick to help and respond. Iā€™d recommend a vehicle with 4WD bc once the winter storm hit, my SUV was dead in the water trying to make it up and down the inclines. The location couldnā€™t have been any better, beautiful views and so many deer met us each morning. We loved it and will be back!

This house was amazing! Cozy and comfortable. Home away from home for sure. The kids loved the game room even just for them to hang out and watch movies. The view was so pretty especially in the morning, 10 outta 10 would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was nice but there were a lot of broken items. Then come to find out they filed a claim against us for items that were already broken. This is my first VRBO. I liked the cabin and I get you are not just gonna leave out high dollar stuff but several of the chairs felt like they were just gonna break. Very disappointed by this.

We had a ā€œgreat ā€œ stay. If you want peace and quiet with Cloudcroft only 5 to 10 minutes away, this is the place to be, why heck, you can just stay in this house and not go anywhere (wouldnā€™t quite suggest that ) but too much to see and do. When they say that it can accommodate up to 12 people, they mean it!!! Plenty of space!! Loved it!ā€¦.Dan

We spent a wonderful 3 nights with perfect accommodations for 6 adults (2 couples and 2 singles). The home was so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of places to walk in the ā€œneighborhood ā€œ with visits from deer including spotted fawns. Highly recommend this home.

This place is better than it looks in the photos. Clean and modern but still has the cabin charm. Itā€™s all the way at the top of the hill so makes for a quiet place with lots of wildlife. Good access to hiking and bike trails as well!

We vacationed here with two families in June of 2024. Coming from Texas it was a nice break from the heat. House was clean, great location, and nice size for two families with 7 total kids. Neat little mountain town. Would highly reccomend.
