"This was my family's second time staying at this home and once again our stay was amazing. Martina and Claire are fabulous to work with and very responsive to messages and texts. The home itself has everything- it is spacious, multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen to enjoy! The location is spectacular!! My family loved the ability to walk down to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, ice cream and all the pubs! I have already raved about this home to my friends and cannot wait for our next...

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place "

"A lovely comfortable space in gorgeous peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed a drink on the patio area behind the annexe & Luis was very helpful with ice for us, as well as driving & parking recommendations. There were thoughtful treats & breakfast items for us also. Highly recommended for couples & we’d have loved to have stayed longer. "

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Wir hatten zum zweiten Mal eine wunderbare Zeit in dem liebevoll eingerichteten und großzügigen Haus. Die Kinder liebten die Ponys und Katzen sowie den großen Garten. Die Eltern genossen die Abgeschiedenheit und den guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Sean und Suzi waren dabei herzliche und kommunikative Gastgeber mit einem herrlichen irischen Humor. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort."

"Lovely property. The owner is very attentive and happy to assist. The cottage is located in a great spot for touring the area. It has all the amenities and comforts for a wonderful stay. It’s located on a nice quiet road and yet isn’t far from everything you need. The beds are amazingly comfy! We really loved being able to make peat fires in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped and check in/out was super quick and easy. "

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin."
