"Loved the town and loved the unit. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was warm and comfortably large. Parking was a nice benefit, for sure. Everything is right downstairs in the pub/restaurant or right outside the door in the quaint neighborhood. This is a great place in the heart of a fun and friendly town. Loved it."

Ou seja, muito antes do horário previsto para o check-in, que poderia ser às 13:00h com um custo de 35 euros ou sem custo, às 16:00h sem Optamos por esperar pelo segundo horário e fomos tomar o café da manhã no próprio hotel. Ali, fomos surpreendidos pelo gerente, que nos ofereceu um chek-in antecipadamente, sem qualquer custo. Muita gentileza da parte dele e de todo o staff . Um hotel pequeno, aconchegante e muito confortável. Voltaremos lá, com certeza....

"If you are on a pilgrimage to experience the life of St. Brigid, this is a wonderful place for the journey. It is directly next door to the Cathedral. The Firecastle Market next door is, I presume, owned by the same people. They were so gracious and helpful. Let me store my bags in their tiny office so I could continue to explore. Truly wonderful hospitality all the way around no matter what your reason for visiting Kildare."

"Was not the 4 star they list as but it is a decent country place with nice grounds. We were given the wrong room type for our second room (instead of balcony a small window facing back) , restaurant was okay but out of all beef and pork at 630-7pm so that was disappointing. Linens were low quality for a 4 star and pillows really small. The singer at bar was honestly the worst I have heard in my many travels to Ireland. Staff really nice. If you get it inexpensive might be good otherwise there...

"We only stayed here for one evening on our way back from our Irish coast tour. We were surprised that the rooms were in such bad shape, because the reviews were so good. The bathroom was not in good shape, the carpet was falling apart, the water would not get hot, and the water in the shower was backfilling. "There has been a lot of investment in the hotel over the years & most of it very effectively invested. As in so many hotels we found the continuing use of a heavy duvet in a warm summer something that we cannot understand. I spoiled our stay. Too hot to use & too cold to do without. We find the same problem in so many hotels. It shows little regard for the customer as management must surely know that "one size does NOT fit all" when it comes to the seasonal changes in night time...
