Stunning Waterfront Home with Private Beach!

Well-appointed waterfront home on the Connecticut shoreline. Home features its own private beach, uninterrupted views, freshly painted interior, central AC, excellent heating/propane fireplace, washer/dryer, propane gas grill. Charming in all seasons. Located among some of Connecticut's most charming towns (such as Essex, Chester, Mystic).

House is well air conditioned in the summer months; and, nice and toasty in the cooler months. Wonderful local dining and shopping, small art galleries and all various sports (tennis, fall horseback riding, yoga...).

This is a close-knit neighborhood where the neighbors respect one another. Ideal property for a tranquil family vacation. Area is very quiet from Labor Day to June, and more populated in June, July and August.

Please note from June 15 to Labor Day, rental is by the week only (Saturday to Saturday).

We had a wonderful winter/holiday stay at this beach house and couldn’t have been more pleased. The home was warm, spotless, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect cozy escape during the off-season. The views were stunning, and the setting was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The host was responsive and welcoming, and everything about the stay was smooth and stress-free. We would absolutely return.

Beachfront Oasis

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this beachfront home in Clinton. Communication was excellent, the home was clean and had all of the essentials for a quiet, peaceful week away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It was great to have the small backyard with a lawn, as well as the private beach, to enjoy on the beautiful weather days. Having the sun porch also allowed us to enjoy the ocean view on the days that were not so nice. Close to some great local restaurants too. Definitely sad to leave at the end of the week!

The location and the house were fantastic. Views were gorgeous. Everything was clean and well thought out. The parking would be hard if you had an SUV or multiple cars. And living room furniture was not the easiest layout for a family but we really enjoyed our stay.

Absolute gem

This is a wonderful little house in a fabulous spot. Cleanliness and check-in could not have been easier. The owner even sent a text midway just asking if everything was okay. The house itself is nicely situated on a quiet beach, but close (3min drive) to stores and restaurants. Really a spectacular place. We will be coming back.

Sea and sky

Watching the changes of light over the Long Island Sound and birds diving and surfing, and hearing the waves all the time: a recipe for deep relaxation. Walking the beach just down a short stairway from the house is lovely. The house is comfy and super clean. Neighborhood very friendly. Close to restaurants, Hammonasset State Park.

Chillaxation Vacation - Doesn’t Get Any Better …

Wow! This beautiful home in this beautiful place was more wonderful than we could have expected! Hubs and I enjoyed a full week here with our little Westies and it was simply perfection - from the exceptionally well appointed home to the breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound with a stretch of beach for sunrise and sunset walks. Spectacular views from the back yard and from every east facing window in the house! We lucked out with a week of perfect weather. Our host, Rob, provided the perfect respite from our everyday world. We greatly appreciated his restaurant recommendations, his quick and helpful responses to our questions and certainly his attentiveness to this fabulous home’s detail. With family in the area and, frankly, just how comfortable we felt hanging out here, we hope to be back again in the future! Thank you, Rob!

Amazing Views

My sister and I stayed here with our mom for a birthday weekend celebration. The backyard view is absolutely incredible - we stayed at the house far later each day than we wanted simply because the views and peaceful sounds of the waves were too hard to leave. Beds were all comfortable and bathrooms were updated with plush towels. The neighborhood is very quiet. We didn’t find much walkable from the property, but a short drive got you to some great places in Clinton. Then a little farther to Essex or Mystic to spend a day once you do talk yourself into leaving the backyard.

Little slice of heaven

Beautiful property in a quiet enclave on the LIS. House is clean and nicely decorated. The real highlight is the bluff directly overlooking the beach in the back yard. Good jumping point to other coastal towns along route one. We enjoyed meals from Lobster Landing, Grand Apizza, and Cafe Routier. Host, Rob, easy to communicate with and helpful.

Clinton CT Oceanfront House

My family spent last week at this perfect house on the beach. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. The pictures of the house are very accurate. The house was very well kept and Rob was very responsive to our texts. The neighborhood is very nice for strolling around. We highly recommend this property.

Great stay! Wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend to attend our daughter’s graduation at Wesleyan University. While the drive back and forth was about 40 minutes (a bit tedious to do a couple times per day), we loved staying at this beautiful home on the water. It was the perfect escape and made our weekend feel like a vacation. The house matched the pictures, the views our beautiful, and the amenities (towels, bedsheets, kitchen supplies, etc) were perfect. We wished we had discovered this home before our daughter graduated so that we could have stayed here on all our past trips when we visited her. Now that she has graduated, I’m not sure when we will come back but if we do, we know where we will stay again! This place was perfect for our family of four!

Just what needed

Immaculate Beachfront Escape

This property is truly special. Tucked back in a very quiet and private neighborhood, and right on the ocean with a private beach. The property is well taken care of, very dog friendly, tastefully decorated, modern yet charming, and spotlessly clean. We are quite picky and no matter where we looked, everything was perfectly clean and well kept, truly impressive for a dog friendly property. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
