South Whidbey Island - No Bank Waterfront Beach house

Relax and enjoy our no-bank waterfront private family home in Sandy Hook Yacht Club Estates. Our home is just steps to the beach on Cultus Bay with a breath taking views of Puget Sound, ship canal and the Olympic mountains, dog friendly, yard is fenced, fully equipped kitchen, large private outdoor deck, plentiful indoor and outdoor options for dining, a recreation room, 2 wood burning fireplaces, WIFI, a 55” Smart TV, with cable. Air conditioning for the hot summer days and a GENERAC GENERATOR in case of power outages. The generator will automatically kick on 60 seconds after power goes out. Our house is truly the perfect location for your next vacation!
There are three bedrooms on the main floor, a loft room with a spiral staircase and low ceilings ** see description below. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a smart TV with cable, slider to the deck with beautiful views of the beach, Puget Sound, and mountains; and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a King-sized bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds and Graco Pack and Play for your little one. These two bedrooms have easy access to the main bathroom which has a shower/tub combination.
** A loft room above the recreation room has a spiral staircase with low ceilings. three twin beds and one full size bed. **Please note: The loft is a great space for children, teens or able adults. It is not recommended for young children or guests who have mobility or concerns with a spiral staircase and low ceilings.
Our kitchen is fully equipped. We have stainless-steel appliances: gas stove top, double oven, refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen is stocked with a microwave, blender, pots, pans, coffee pot, toaster, measuring cups, condiments, spices, flour, sugar, and much more. Outside, we have a Weber BBQ and Blackstone griddle for all your grilling desires! Our kitchen has everything you need to make and serve a gourmet meal.
The living room has a wood-burning fireplace, 55” Samsung smart TV with cable & Netflix, large windows that look out to the beach.
The house has many options for dining. Just off the kitchen, we have a large table that seats 8 people comfortably. There is also a smaller table near the slider door to the waterfront deck that seats 4. In addition, we have a highchair and youth chair. Outside, we have a dining table that seats 8, two lounger chairs for sun-bathing relaxing or napping, as well as two outdoor love seats with two chairs with a gas fire-pit coffee table. Also, a fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs, two bench seats and plenty of firewood. Lots of comfortable places to eat, socialize, or just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous view.
Our spacious recreation room has a pool table, cupboard full of games, puzzles, coloring books and crayons. We also provide a basketball, tennis rackets with balls, Frisbee, Slot machine (no cash out), old jute box that sometimes plays, washer, dryer, Vacuum, and extra supplies and linens, if needed.
The garage store's life jackets, extra propane tanks, extra refrigerator & Freezer, S'more skewers, beach supplies and highchair.
On the North side of the house, we have 2 kayaks for your use. One person and the other is a 2 person kayak. Life jackets are in the garage.
There are two family friendly community parks and beaches within walking distance. The first is next door to our house. It has a nice children’s play structure with swings overlooking the beach. A large grass area, beach access as well as breathtaking views of the beach and mountains. A short walk through the neighborhood will lead you to another park with a basketball court, two tennis courts, pickle ball court and a play area for children.
The nearby towns of Clinton, Langley and Bayview are a 15-to-20-minute drive from our house. All have delicious restaurants, Brew Pubs, A speak Easy, unique shops, farmers markets, wine and distillery tasting, Kayak tours (Langley) and spectacular views.
Our cozy home is a perfect place to enjoy every season!
***The house maximum capacity is 8 guests. It is not for the purpose of birthday, anniversary, bachelor, bachelorette, weddings or rehearsal dinners… no parties or gatherings whatsoever where outside guests are invited. Groups for 8 or under. Families, Friend groups, Team Building, work groups, book clubs, etc. are welcome!
Cleaning Fee: $250.
$175. pet fee (maximum 2 dogs)
Balance is due 30 days prior to check in. If reservations are made less than 30 days prior to check in, payment is due in full.
