Perfect

Our stay here was everything we hoped for. Peaceful and relaxing, gorgeous views, a fully fenced yard that our dog enjoyed, and easy access to the beach for beach walks at low tide. Beds were comfortable, the property was clean and well appointed, and we felt comfortable and welcomed.

One of the best!

We loved our stay! The house is clean and well stocked, and the view is incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely try to rent again. Three families (9 people) had plenty of room and the bedrooms worked well for our group. Weather was a bit cold for the pool but the sauna was a pleasant surprise.

Incredible visit

The first thing all our kids yelled when we arrived onsite was, ā€œWe need to come back here again!ā€ The house itself was clean, well stocked, and incredibly spacious for our 5 adult, 3 kid party. The location is incredible. Right on the water with gorgeous views from the house. The private pool was an absolute luxury. The kiddos swam every day and there were ample floaties to keep them entertained. We will absolutely be retuning to this home on a regular basis.

Just what we needed

Nothing but positive feelings about our vacation rental. Beautiful location, clean and cozy interior, fun pool and sauna, right on the beach and able to view the ferry go back and forth from the home. It was very well hosted with a well thought out welcome book provided. The host checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It was just what our family needed. A relaxing easy vacation with pool and beach right there.

Peaceful Retreat

The indoor pool was a plus. Due to the time of year, it was a bit cold walking from house to the pool. I did not get from listing that it was in a different building. I probably misread something. The home doesn't have central heating or air. Only cadet wall heaters. Due to the weather it was very hard to regulate the heat. I guess we should have brought wood for the indoor fireplace but didnt realize that we would need it. something..

Wonderful Stay on Possession Sound, Whidbey Island

Lovely large house right on the Sound and perfect for a family trip with 3 generations. Tons of wildlife - on land and sea. And grandkids adored the warm pool. This is a rare vacation rental that I want to go back to. The house feels totally private, no visible other houses, but yet convenient to stores, ferry and restaurants - a great combination.

Great option for Seattle getaway!

Our family of five (kids age from 7 - 13) and a family of four stayed here for a week. Itā€™s a lovely spot with great things to do and close to the ferry. The pool and games made cool, rainy days more fun. The pool was very hot when we were there and the property manager was very helpful in getting the issue resolved. Highly recommend for people looking for a lovely vacation spot. As a bonus - we had daily bald eagle and seal sightings and a group of harbor seals on the last day!

Perfect home in perfect location

Our family has had a vacation on the Pacific coast every year for the past 12 years (with the exception of Covid in 2020). Of all those vacations, this is the best vacation home we have used. It was perfect for what our family wanted, including the ease of beach access, perfect weather, the views from the home, the sleeping arrangements, etc. It was all wonderful. We absolutely loved staying at the home. Wish we didn't have to leave! The only issue, and it is a minor issue, is that the owners were a bit frugal with the amenities, such as cleaners, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, salt, etc. As I said, we loved our stay, and hopefully we will be able to return soon. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing stay!

We loved our stay here. The pictures donā€™t do the home justice. Itā€™s spacious and beautiful! Thereā€™s a big fenced in yard for the kids to run and play and the pool was incredible. We loved our stay and even saw a whale right outside the window. Iā€™d highly recommend staying here!

Great family retreat

My family of four along with four other family members stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Friends of ours raves about it to us and we couldnā€™t agree more with them. The location along the water is beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a group of our size. The host was fantastic and had everything we needed there for us. Absolutely incredible home on the ocean with wildlife out your front door, perfect for families

This house was dreamy! Located at the end of a long driveway, right on the ocean with a fenced in yard for little kids or dogs. The ocean and beach are footsteps away, there is an expansive deck for relaxing on warm days with views of passing otters, seals, porpoises and eagles! The separate pool house is awesome, the pool temp is 85 degrees and we all swam a couple times a day. We loved that the kids had their own living room and tv so the adults could relax in the great room. The beds are all kings with super comfortable tuft and needle mattresses, comfy pillows and really nice Nordstrom towels. We are owners of two vacation rentals in NH and VT and were impressed by the layout and comfort. It was the perfect home for our family to spend time together on Whidbey. Highly recommend and we canā€™t wait to come back.

Wonderful Stay at the Beach

We did not want to leave! The home is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you could need. Colin was a wonderful host, and our stay was idyllic. We loved watching seals swimming by as we sipped our morning coffee. Our three-year-old loved everything from splashing in the pool to walking on the beach; there's so much to do that no one could ever get bored. The house was even accommodating to our nine-month-old. We would love to come back and stay in the summer! Thanks for the lovely time!

Private and peaceful, great for families

Located at the bottom of a steep hill this private home on the beach was perfect for my large family gathering. House was well laid out had most of the things you needed possession park reserve just a few steps to the south of the beach property. Had a great time and would highly recommend.

Great House in a Great Location

The property is fabulous - private beach, great views, yard, fire pit, large driveway with basketball hoop, and a warm indoor pool. The house is very well stocked - lots of dishes and silverware, cookware, bakeware, towels, and games. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out; both kids and adults were happy to spread out and give each other plenty of space. Colin, the property manager, was very attentive and friendly. He answered our questions quickly even before we booked the house. A nice touch was him sending a quick message during our stay to check in to make sure everything was going well. We are already planning on returning!

This house is a real treasure. The location is fantastic, right on the water and very private. The pool was wonderful for the kids (and adults). The house is spacious, comfortable, and lovely. Falling asleep each night to the sound of the ocean was like a dream. Will definitely be back!

The house was in great shape, well maintained and very nicely furnished. Spectacular views. The pool was a lot of fun and kept the grandkids busy when the fog rolled in. We loved watching the ferries cross. The property owner was very responsive and helpful.

Spectacular Views

We really enjoyed staying in this home with spectacular views of the water, mountains, and wildlife. It is in a peaceful location away from everything but nature, yet just a short drive to grocery stores and surrounding towns with great restaurants. The house was clean and spacious with plenty of room for the 10 of us. The heated pool was clean and great fun for our kids who played continuous volleyball and basketball games. The firepit was perfect for making S'mores during chilly evenings. Colin was very responsive to the few questions that we had and all communication, including check-in was easy. I would not hesitate to book this property again.
