"Plenty of fish were caught from the dock, coffee and snacks were enjoyed on the spacious deck overlooking the lake, games and our sit-down Saturday night dinner at the kitchen table - all contributed to time together for our busy family. Kitchen supplies/organization fantastic. Only issue was bunk beds and loft in the same room. Access to upper beds didn’t work for our ages, mobilities, so two of us slept in living room, but it was a small detraction from our long, relaxing weekend together."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin on the lake. Thoughtfully designed, it included everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Inside, the classic Minnesota cabin aesthetic came through beautifully—plenty of pine tongue-and-groove paneling and charming wildlife decor set the tone.What really surprised me was the variety of waterfowl on the lake. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I spotted several birds I couldn’t even identify, which says something!I titled this a "Diamond in the Rough"...

"Perfect stay for our hockey tournament weekend. Enjoyed the fire pit, and the fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs. Great communication. Easy check in and out! "

"Molbec Retreat was a perfect spot for my son and I to stay while he was at SSM for camp. The house was very homey, clean, organized, and had all the amenities that we needed. A perfect blend of craftsmanship with modern updates. A huge bonus was being able to park in the garage. Rebecca was very responsive to my questions about Faribault. We would stay again!"

"First I am normally not a complainer. I have also stayed in many VRBOs. All very positive experiences.I was expecting rustic because this place looked dated. However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. It is supposed to be supplied with enough towels and wash clothes for 13 guests. It is not. They are working on flooring up stairs so one room was subfloor. Not completed. The bedroom closets were filled with...

"This place is immaculate and just what we needed after a long bike ride on the trail. It’s in a great location, and even though a lot of the downtown store fronts are empty, we were able to walk to a nice restaurant. It has a loft feel with great decor/art and it’s in a great building space!"

"My mom and I stayed here while we were in town for a book signing. It's an old home that has been upgraded, but still feels unique (the floors are beautiful). It's the perfect size for 2-3 people. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great. Nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown and the library! Fair warning that the washer and dryer are not free (coin-operated), so if you had a longer stay, be prepared for that! "
