Parking issues

Kuchen and bathroom need an update. Parking can be a problem, four out of weight nights I could not park anywhere near the property and was threatened with being towed. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Not Accurate Listing - Not Good Area

We did not appreciate the inaccuracy of this VRBO listing. This place is not in a ā€œhipā€ area. Thereā€™s no driveway and the lawn looked as if it hadnā€™t been mowed in weeks. The posting says it sleeps 8, but there are only five forks to share. The grill was completely rusted. The bathroom was NOT clean. The towels were stained and the water was tinted red from the rusting pipes. I would not recommend staying here.

Convenient location

This was a convenient place to stay for our overnight trip, since it was close to the waterfront and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We were comfortable and found the side street to be quiet at night giving way to lots of chirping birds in the morning. We both agreed it reminded us of our own grandmothersā€™ home. Very eclectic, good directions and reminders of how to use the space when we were done.

Great Stay in Beautiful Cleveland

We loved the convenient location. We were an easy drive to downtown and other areas. It was very walkable to the lakeside, grocery stores, restaurants and bars.

The place was adequate, however, on bed was missing baseboards and my husband and I had a terrible time sleeping the first night. The 2nd bedroom we tried had no ceiling fan and it was lumpy and so we moved onto the third bed that was better than the others. We were then told we were being charged to clean the beds we used. All of them. This puzzled us as youā€™re supposed to clean them anyway even if it looked like nobody used them. Would I stay in this place again? Probably not since the host was not happy with our feedback. Overall, however, our stay in town was enjoyable.

Cute Historic Get Away

Perfect for a small reunion with several high school friends. House was clean and great for our needs. Had fantastic old Cleveland charm. After a small snafu with entry to the apartment (cold Cleveland days make for sticky locks, no fault of owner) we were all set. Owner even offered late check out for our troubles. House was cozy and toasty on a cold winter night!

This property needs attention before it will really be welcoming to guests

Please review previous renters comments. Most are accurate. We gave the host the benefit of the doubt when booking. While the property management team and especially the cleaning staff were kind and responsive, this property did not meet even average Vrbo standards. There are significant repairs to the porch railing, indoor bedroom doors and basic accommodations like the bathtub and closets that should be done before future bookings. It is a one-floor unit of a small two-story home. The parking was not available in front of the home at night. We walked a significant distance to park each time we left the unit. There are not enough chairs, space at kitchen table or dishes and flatware to accommodate the six adults who stayed there in our party. The bathroom would be difficult to enter for a larger adult. We used the wi-fi successfully. We did enjoy a pleasant walk to the lake's edge. We found a lovely coffee shop. We were able to attend a friend's wedding. These were important. It has the potential to be a quaint mid-century experience, but it is not there yet.

Neighborhood was nice. Location was good. Felt very safe. Check in process was easy. Property is as pictured. The only complaint is that the place needs some TLC and fixes to make the stay more comfortable. Outside of house could use some love, and a good cleaning on the ceiling fans. We couldnā€™t figure out how to use apps on the tv, which isnt a huge deal. Overall, good and served the purpose as we only stayed one night.Thank you!

Cleveland stay

Overall the property was nice. Could have uaed a better cleaning. The property charges $100 fee for cleaning and yet every ceiling fan was covered in dust and we fiyndong black hairs stuck to the wall in the bathroom. Other than that, it was very enjoyable.

Generally clean and good spot for brief stay. Nice quiet neighborhood, near downtown. Needed to text to get both check-in info and again to get Wifi code, though they were quickly responsive. Bedroom door didnā€™t close and there were holes in one of the ceilings. Not all rooms had AC.

Short Stay, Great Time

This place was right near downtown and offered everything our group needed to celebrate my birthday. Friends traveling from out of state didn't have to mess around with meters for parking or much traffic at all. The location is right next to everything and ubers were just as quick. Owner of the house is very friendly and prompt.

great neighborhood

The house is set in a leafy residential neighborhood, walking distance to the lake.The host was easy to communicate with and let us check in early which we appreciated. The apartment is on the first floor of a two story house and very quiet. Although it checks all the boxes (it was as advertised) the property could use some TLC.

This isn't what place we rented. They moved us to this place. It was horrible. Not a good word to say about it. We have stayed in 10-15 more places and this one is the worst. It's falling apart. Bugs, --holes in walls, Bathroom was bad. No washer and dryer. window air did work. beds pads are not washed each time. Had written on it don't take off. This place should never be rented. Please stay away. Oh, we have homeless people living in the back yard with fire and drinking and dancing around the fire. scarey place.

not what i thought

i was charged extra for my 6 month old and 2 year old... We i went to home house was not clean well texted cleaner and was called nexted day that it was clean but had pictures... so the cleaner came out gavin me candy and a gift card i guess due to being pregnant and i had to clean home... I talked to mark he was great and tryed to help out due to oven not working so could not cook much... He also got a new microwave but as my husband and i where laying in our night clothes the cleaner walked in my husband asked her to leave she just came in and said no one will look at you... and as well tryed to walk around home which we did not need ... i my self have cleaned homes home for years and would not do.... But we had to extended our stay and mark was great with that... other then the poor worker the host was great with responding back to me... i would stay again if different cleaner and a new stove... but its not a bad places it very close to lake freeway and shopping centers..
