"We loved our stay here!! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The house has everything you need especially the kitchen. We really enjoyed the fireplace while staying here also. The location was perfect for us, it’s right across the street from Makarricher state park and not for from town if you need to go for ice cream. Highly recommend."

"Spent one night at the Mendo Bungalows. The unassuming building sits up on a hill with a nice break in the trees to view the ocean. But stepping into the actual bungalow was a real treat. Looked like it had just recently been built/renovated. Plenty of space, lots of plugs for devices, modern TV with streaming, ample shower, super comfy bed. You should be aware that the town of Mendocino is actually across Hwy 1 on the west side of the highway. It’s probably not advisable to try and walk across...

"This location is unbeatable, and we loved having so much room to spread out after a week of cramped hotel rooms, not to mention laundry facilities! The kitchen is extremely large, clean and well-stocked. Despite coastal fog every day but our last, the ocean view is stunning and coffee or wine on your own ocean view porch was a daily treat. Don't skip walking the Headlands Path, which has spectacular views. It was great to quickly walk to a delicious dinner at McCallum House, fabulous breakfasts...
