The property is beautiful. The rooms are spacious yet cozy, with lovely homey touches, from the basket of fleece blankets near the fireplace to the fluffiest toilet paper. The game room is filled with bikes, snowshoes, a ping pong table, and a giant Connect Four. We took turns in the hot tub and made s'mores around the fire pit. From the expansive and well-stocked kitchen (deeply admired by our family's professional chef as we prepared a Thanksgiving meal for 12) to the kiddos' bunk beds that doubled as a pirate ship, it is unanimous. Our whole family has high hopes of coming back next year.
Owners Laurie and John were gracious and kind, doing their best to make things run to perfection. Hoping to bring our two special-needs dogs, we were granted permission with a reasonable deposit. After learning that the dogs did not travel with us after all, our deposit was immediately refunded. Also, when Laurie received word about a broken door handle, she responded right away.
The best compliment I can share came from the 4-year-old who pitched a weepy fit on the way out of the door. "I don't wanna leave!! Suncadia is the BEST vacation EVERRRRRR!"
