  • Summary:

    Nature lovers will absolutely adore this charming home, sitting right on the shore of Lake Cle Elum and offering an idyllic, tree-lined setting. It’s a one-minute walk to amazing water and mountain views, with scenic Speelyi Beach just a few minutes more. All the shops, restaurants, and amenities of Cle Elum are around seven miles away, while downtown Roslyn and the famous Brick Saloon, boutique shopping, and Sunday Farmers Market are roughly four miles away.



    The Space:

    At home, brew some coffee each morning and revel in the quiet surroundings on your wraparound deck, watch the kids explore the outdoors via the backyard trails in the afternoon, and spend evenings gathered around the firepit, roasting marshmallows and admiring the stars. Inside, you’ll find an open layout, soaring ceilings, and abundant natural light thanks to a wall of windows onto the forest. The chef will love the well-equipped kitchen, with a full suite of appliances and plenty of countertop prep space. The littles can perch on the kitchen barstools to help, and the whole gang can sit down for a meal together at the 12-seat dining table. Kid-friendly extras include a high chair and a booster seat. Spend the day exploring, then get cozy in front of the wood-burning stove each evening. Entertainment options include two streaming-capable TVs and free WiFi. The night ends in any of three well-appointed bedrooms. Kids and adults alike will appreciate the cute kids sleeping nooks in the third bedroom. Fall asleep dreaming of your first - and next - perfect lake day.



    THINGS TO KNOW

    Streaming services are available with guests’ personal accounts.



    The owner's garage was taken out by the winter storms. Everything has been cleared but the foundation.. The new garage will not be built till Fall of 2026. Owners have installed a pickleball net and purchased rackets and balls for guests to use in this area as a court.

    There are a few foundation blocks on the perimeter, with rebar sticking up a few inches. The owner has placed caps on the rebar and will place caution tape on the blocks. Please be cautious when using the court, and do not leave young children unattended.

This property is conveniently located near Lake CleElum, where we spent most of our time. Plenty of beds to accommodate the nine of us.

Cabin review

This cabin was very homey, very clean and in a great neighborhood. It was a quick 1 min walk to the lake. Amazing Will definitely be back.

Great place to get away.

What a lovely and peaceful cabin. Super short walk to the lake, right on a relaxing creek and nothing but peace and quiet. The whole family (including the dog) was sad to leave!

Cozy Winter Property

This cozy & inviting home was an excellent fit for our family cross country ski trip. Our young children loved the sleeping arrangements & toys. It was near a few trail options & we deeply appreciated the wood stove when returning from a day of skiing.

Lakeside

Very clean, well appointed cabin just a short minute walk to Lake Cle Elum. Quiet neighborhood. It felt like we were alone in the woods. Loved it!.

Perfect summer vacation cabin for family!

We had a really great time with the whole family here. We brought a couple atv’s during our stay and they came in handy when riding down to speeliy beach ! The house is nice and cozy and very lean when we arrived. Kitchen came loaded with dishes, cups, pans etc with anything you would need! We wouldn’t mind staying here again 👍

Cozy family retreat

The perfect family getaway anytime of the year! Nestled at the end of a private lane with lots of space to park your toys this cabin is updated and fully stocked with all the amenities. We immediately felt at home and our kids especially loved the built in bunks. If you should choose to bring your  pups, they too will have a luxury space to rest in. We would absolutely rent this cabin again in the future and recommend to all.

Lake Cabin

The cabin fit all of us very well, plenty of room. The huge dinning table was great for games and puzzles. The mud room was great for all of our snow gear. The place could use a deep clean.

We had a good time at the cabin! Check in was smooth. The extra long table was great for board games and shared meals for our group of 8. The kids loved the bunk bed set up. The property was very quiet and had almost everything you’d need. The only thing was that there is no AC and with all the fans going, it was very difficult to air out and cool down even into the late evening hours. We couldn’t close some of the blinds either to reduce the heat. Overall, it was a good stay and we enjoyed our time!

An excellent 5+ star experience for families or adventurers.

We had an incredible time! I highly recommend. The house was perfect for our group (2 families with kids ranging from 9 to 16). The bunk beds were an absolute hit with the little ones. The older kids were out at the lake and in the snow all day, so, we appreciated that all were stone's throw away. We look forward to making more family memories here in the future.

Winter Weekend Getaway

Six current and former work colleagues have tried to make an annual pilgrimage to the mountains in winter for much of the past 15 years. We have stayed in many places over the years and we all agreed that this place has all the amenities that we look for, The kitchen is very well appointed and the wood stove keeps the whole cabin quite toasty.

Snowmobile Vacation

This is a great location! Just 4 miles from Cascade Rentals. Great cosy cabin with lots of beds for friends and family. Plenty of dishes for everyone. Kitchen we'll stocked with cooking pans. Wonderful fireplace to warm up the cabin. The hosts provided shampoo samples and soap. There were enough towels for everyone. We had a wonderful time!

Amazing!

Yearly family gatherings started for us a couple years ago and every year we try a new place. This is at the top of our list. Very close to the lake, every night we used the firepit, enough beds so we didn't have to share, large kitchen and table for all of us. It was perfect. Thank you!

Perfect woodsy retreat!

What a wonderful weekend we had at Peak-a-View! This cabin is cheerful, well-appointed, and in a fantastic location. Take a short walk to scenic Speelyi Beach, and only a few minutes' drive will get you to so many trailheads. When you come back to the cabin, the mud room is so convenient for taking off dirty hiking gear before cozying up to the firepit, or on the couch by the indoor wood-burner. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, including your pup! If you're looking for a cozy retreat in the PNW, this is the place.

Cute Lake House

Definitely a cute spot and great if going with a couple families with kids. The site does make it seem like the lake is closer to the house than it is. Don't get me wrong, it is super close, but the trail is a bit tight and steep, especially with kids or packing anything. Much easier to just drive over to Steeyli Beach Access and just drive onto the beach. Luckily we had a good vehicle for sand travel. The house was great though and had all that we needed for a couple day stay. It did get very hot so be prepared to turn on the fans and open the windows at night! We had a wonderful time though and plan to be back!

Better options for the price

The house feels a bit more rustic in person than we felt like the photos conveyed. The house certainly has the things you need in terms of serving wares and toys/games which is nice. While the posting is certainly accurate in describing its proximity to the lake, later in the summer when the water is low, it's quite a walk to get to the water's edge and the path from the house takes you by a not inconsiderable pile of trash, which was pretty disheartening to see. We've stayed at other properties in that area that felt like a much better deal for the price. Vacasa answered our questions quickly.
