"We have visited Helen several times and tried VRBOs and hotels throughout the city. This is BY FAR our favorite. You can easily walk anywhere on the strip, but it’s very tranquil on the cabin’s street. The cabin was exceptionally clean and cozy, and it was stocked with literally everything we could need. You can tell the owners really put a lot of thought into what their guests might need. Our favorite part was the beautiful back porch. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to family...

"The property was great, excellent location. Close and convenient to town whether walking or driving. Enjoyed our time outside, tubing down the river and stopping "at home" on the way down or just watching others flow by, played corn hole, had a fire and s'mores, cooked and dined outside, relaxed on the swing and read, watched TV outside, etc. We only had a couple of items that could be improved on. "Check in was fairly easy. The kitchen was acceptable and functional. I appreciated the necessary components to prepare meals. Newer cookware and bakeware would have been more useful but, I made do with what was there. I can imagine how hard it is to keep those items updated and in good condition though. "This house and property are stunning. We had a wonderful stay. We had a small issue at check in and the owner (and her crew) were quick to resolve it. Great communication with the owner. My family and our friends spent the majority of our stay at the house because there was a lot to do onsite (including reading, cooking, hiking, playing in the creek, fire pit, hot tub, relaxing). However, we did spend a day in downtown Franklin and had fun. I have no doubt that my family and I will return....
