We only explored a small amount of the property but it was lovely and if we had more time would have enjoyed it more. Very clean. Plenty of room. Good communication with owner. If we are back in the area, we would definitely stay there again if available."

"The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5."

"Nestled in trees, quiet, peaceful area. Loved the hammocks under the trees! The lake can be seen through the trees, but no close access to the water. Kitchen had everything needed. Plenty of clean towels & paper goods. Bedding was clean and comfy. Enjoyed all the windows and the view. It was enjoyable to on the deck. Great weekend stay with girlfriends! "

"Very quiet and enjoyable! A great landing spot for our stay in Manhattan. It is about 25 minutes to the Dillons on Seth Child’s, so plan accordingly. Kitchen is adequately stocked for home cooking (pots, pans, etc). Plenty of space for my husband and I. Would definitely be enough space for 6. The stairs going down to the basement are tricky, definitely not for older adults or anyone with flexibility issues. There is an entrance from the bottom that can be used. We would stay here again!"

"Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!"

"We had a change in our plans and needed to check in a day early. We were able to contact the property manager, and he was able to make it work for us to check in a day early! We were so grateful that he was able to make this happen for us. We were staying here for our son's wedding, which was at the venue not far away. He made our stay very accommodating, and the house and location worked out great for us. "

"If I could give Cheryl a 100 star review, I would! This stay was absolutely the best we have ever experienced. Cheryl cares a great deal about the quality of her guests stay and ensures they have anything and everything possible. We have stayed at many places and I have never stayed at a place that gave me Ritz level service unless I was at The Ritz. Our kids both commented at home comfortable the home was. My family is from the area so we will definitely be back and have zero reason to stay...

"What a special place to stay for a couple’s getaway! Room was perfect. Owners add all the special amenities to the room, including games, ice, filtered water, books and so much more. Loved the view from our room! We also got to enjoy the property with fishing, hiking and kayaking. Was really sad to leave! Hope to visit again! "
