Idyllic villa just outside the picturesque village of Claviers

You'll find the villa situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, commanding breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside. It is just over ten minutes' walk from the splendid hilltop village of Claviers, and just over a couple of kilometers from Bargemon (voted one of the most beautiful villages in France).

Nestled among terraced olive groves, with a spectacular infinity pool, the house enjoys a fabulous, secluded setting. Yet within 45 minutes to an hour you can be in the Côte d'Azur resorts, sunbathing on the white sands of Fréjus or La Nartelle beaches, kayaking in the Gorges du Verdon, or enjoying life in Cannes or St. Tropez.

The airports of Nice Côte d'Azur (1h) and Marseille Provence (1:45) are within easy reach.

The property itself is set in over an acre of terraced olive groves and woodland in a peaceful hillside location. The villa and grounds are South facing and enjoy maximum day-long sunshine throughout the year. A bamboo covered pergola provides the main terrace with shade for summer relaxation and dining.

The house is is equipped with a gas bbq, multiple sunbeds and garden furniture. The poolside has garden furniture and parasols to provide shade. The generous-sized overflow pool is 11m x 4m (with safety alarm), and is complemented by its own terrace, situated beneath the olive groves. A boules ground and extensive private gardens provide other opportunities for enjoyment during your stay.

The three bedrooms are over ground and first floors. There are double and twin rooms on the first floor, on either side of the just-renovated bathroom (WC, shower and sink). On the ground floor is a double room, with an additional single bed, adjoined by an ensuite bathroom (bath, walk-in shower, WC and sink, also just renovated).

The ground floor also comprises a fully-equipped kitchen and large open-plan living area, from which you can glimpse the pool on one side and enjoy the breathtaking views over the surrounding scenery on the other. The kitchen and living area both open onto the main terrace, providing for plenty of opportunity to socialise during meal times, and maximum use of the space. Also on the ground floor is a separate WC.

Upstairs, in addition to the two bedrooms there is a toilet and, leading off the landing, a small "solarium" terrace with a coffee table and chairs, ideal for a morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or to enjoy a book with the green hills of the Var stretching into the distance as a backdrop.

There is ample parking over the property.

Above the house, a rambling garden path leads though the stepped olive groves onto a quiet country road, from which Claviers is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Here you will find bars, restaurants, a boulangerie, a small supermarket and a thriving boules scene...
