Comfortable Clarkdale retreat

A good sized room with a king size bed, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. Has its own private entrance, flat screen TV, cable, WiFi. Freshly renovated, modern room in an historic landmark building. You have access to all the shared amenities of the Clarkdale Lodge, such as the second floor deck, the hammocks on the patio, the reading room and the gardens. The Lodge is also within minutes of two bars on foot and only 4 miles from the town of Jerome.

Think twice

We booked the Verde Valley Train ride and saw a property in Clarkdale would be convenient. Shouldā€™ve looked in Cottonwood. The unit we booked had very little ventilation. The window air conditioner went on and off every seven seconds, the ceiling fan had only one speed which was high, so we felt we couldnā€™t sleep with it running all nigh, the windows were filthy, dirty, the lobby and outside seating area havenā€™t been dusted for I would say a couple of months.

Clean, but quaint

We had an enjoyable stay at the Clarkdale Lodge. Our room was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. But, the building is very old, the room was small, the TV had only 4 stations, and there was only a small shelf for my husband to use his CPAP machine. Had we both had one, we would have been in trouble. But, I would recommend the Clarkdale Lodge and would stay again when traveling through the area.

Lovely stay

The Lodge was the perfect location to return to rest from our adventures. It's an older building, but everything was clean and had the ameneties that we needed, such as a mini fridge.

View on balcony and porches is unbelievable beautiful!! Itā€™s a comfy room with all the little things like a good bed, coffee machine, fridge, and a lot of towels!! It was lovely quiet weekend retreat! We never met the host. Needed more coffee and trash emptied. Suggest a little place to buy items as there is no place to walk to get small stuff.

Our room was so nice and we had so much fun in Jerome that were planing another trip and Iā€™m definitely going to plan the trip around the availability at the Clarkdale lodge. Thereā€™s ton pretty flowers and a garden. Thereā€™s a fantastic library upstairs that me and my fiancĆ© are using for our engagement photos. The park outside is beautiful and so close to a lot of neat places to eat. 10/10 am coming again

Loved the space, perfect for my husband and I.

Really enjoyed our stay, perfect for my husband and I. Wish there were blackout curtains or some kind of darker curtains as the sun rises so early. The place was nice and clean and comfortable. The place was spacious and all amenities were great as in soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, etc. Not sure is the coffee there was instant or just stale, but was bitter and weird.

Clarkdale Lodge - fun place to stay

The two of us stayed at the Clarkdale Lodge for 3 nights in early May. We had what was described as a "studio apartment", but was really like a small hotel room - kingsize bed, dorm-sized fridge, microwave, 2 cup coffee maker, TV and private bath. That being said it was a super friendly place - we loved going up to the second floor patio and meeting up and visiting with the other residents who were staying there. It was very quiet and pleasant, and provided easy access to Jerome, Cottonwood, and Sedona. We would go back.

Not only is the location perfect, the rooms perfect, the park perfect, the walkable restaurants perfect AMAZING wineries 15 min away, but the HOST are perfect as well! So clean , everything clean, coffee, creamer, condiments m, ice trays, clean towels and plenty of them, Internet that works TV that plays more than Netflix, dog friendly, great parking....it is our home away from home and we love it!!!! They really do things right here! If you go to many homeaways you will definitely appreciate every single touch Clarkdale lodge does!! Plenty of towels, coffee, refrigerator, freezer, with ice cubes! TV with cable, and Internet that works. Many places offer TV cable and Internet but most places you have to have a Netflix account to watch anything on TV. Not Clarkdale liodge!!! Coffee cups, glasses for your wine that you bring back from the winery, hot water, great shower, clean, convenient, and pet friendly! What more could you ask for, oh thatā€™s right? An extremely friendly host, And that is exactly what you get! Canā€™t wait to come back soon!

Absolutely PERFECT!!!!

What a perfect location To get away, enjoying the cooler weather of being out of the city. The location could not have been better, so close to Sedona, cornville, all of the wineries and more!! The room itā€™s self was so cute and cozy, but more importantly had everything you could possibly imagine for a studio! As a matter of fact, we have rented three and four bedroom homes and I have not had the amenities like we have here. From coffee to creamer in the refrigerator, enough towels for our stay, as well as a microwave, refrigerator, Glasses for the wine we came back with, and even a hairdryer! Being pet friendly was an absolute plus, however having a huge park across the street and even free Wi-Fi at the park was a huge treat !! Restaurants within walking distance, decorated for the holidays and such a friendly staff to answer any and all questions!! Already booked to come back in 3 weeks!!
