"This is truly a very lovely and special inn. Everything was clean and well kept, lawn and lawn games looked inviting, the shared reading spaces were peaceful. We just should’ve done our research beforehand, because we didn’t realize the restaurant was closed two of the three nights we were there. But we’re so happy we discovered this wonderful place!"

"The room was clean, but small. The shower was super tiny, but I knew this was an old building, so I didn't expect huge open spaces. The decor was cute, and the breakfast options were good. There was an issue with the electricity in my room the first night. Only 2 outlets worked, the one in the bathroom, and the one that the air conditioner was plugged into. It wasn't a huge deal. I was able to get an extension cord so I could plug in my electronics. I checked in later, so I did bring it up with...

"We had booked many many rooms due to it being my daughter‘s wedding. We were dismayed to find out that the Pool closed at 10ish goo and the fire pit went out at 11 or 1130 the first night and the second night. It wasn’t even on which was the night after the wedding and we would’ve liked to have sat around the fire."

"Property does not have the name of the property listed anywhere on the building or in the parking lot. Neither of the two TVs in our room ever worked we called maintenance several times waited up till well past 10 and still nothing so we were never able to enjoy our room watch a movie or relaxed together wasn't even two chairs sit on the balcony listed on the reservation poorly kept up property poorly cleaned very outdated do not recommend other others"

"Very unique hotel with friendly staff, specially the breakfast chef who greeted us in portuguese in the second morning. Decoration is just perfect. Location is excellent with restaurant and shops nearby and a lovely place to walk by the Merrimac river. Will stay again, definitely."

"It overlooked the water and grounds well groomed and charm of the retro/traditional historical Inn was very enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and fun. We had a take out dinner and rather than go to our room to eat they turned on the lights in bar/fix easy dining area and we enjoyed our dinner and viewing the ocean. Also, appreciated outdoor games such as corn hole, horse shoes and many other family games offered in library. Nice touches throughout stay."

"Very nice comfy spot, only issue I had was the cord for the little desk fan didn’t work. Great spot other than that. Little pricey but it was Memorial Day weekend. Quiet and there were no interactions with any staff due to it all being through phone it was contactless"
