"Everything was exactly as you wanted. The only reason that I reduced my review is because there was an unsightly mark on the sheet and I think people should pay more attention when they make the bed cause this was not very pleasant at all I was woken late that night by people talking outside my room. I don’t quite know why, and obviously nobody can do anything about that except the guests themselves by being more considerate. With luck it’s just an exception."

"Very run down with no signs of trying to fix anything. Friendly enough staff, but clueless. I had to move rooms after the first night. The radiator in room 218 couldn't be turned off and it was 25 degrees. The ceiling in the bathroom has water damage from above and the plaster was cracked and falling down. The second room I was given, room 317, had more problems. The window had broken seals, so let in a lot of wind and noise from the street. I found 2 empty Absolut vodka bottles wedged...

"Decent budget-friend hotel though you pay a slight premium for being right on the seafront. They have a parking garage on a first come first serve basis for £8 per 24 hours, though it’s incredibly tight so big cars may struggle. There is lots of paid street parking (£0.95 per 30 minutes) that can often have you parked right outside the hotel if you time it right that runs from 9am to 6pm; max stay 4 hours during those times so it’s good for free overnight if you time it right."

"Cozy hotel with very sympathetic and welcoming staff. It feels very much like home. The rooms are fine and clean. Their restaurant has a menu with good options for lunch and dinner. It does not have a lift, so, if carrying heavy luggage, it might be a little effort. The curtains in the bathroom could be a little thicker to make the shower experience more pleasant. Otherwise, I only have compliments on the quality of the premises, the service and the personnel. "

The room was nice however I would say the food is good but overpriced and the bar prices are extremely expensive for a rural bed-and-breakfast, almost 8 pounds for a pint of lager seems excessive. £14 for a full English breakfast with one egg, one rasher of bacon, and one sausage But overall, a nice location and a nice little hotel"

"Beautifully turned out seaside hotel. Especially like the fact that the family room had a double bed and two single beds (as opposed to a sofa or put up bed as is often provided). Made to order breakfast options were also fresh and delicious. "

"I think if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay and just need somewhere to sleep, it’s a great option. You can check in online and then get in when you get in, which worked very well for me. The room itself needs a little fixing up, the sink had a massive crack down the middle, the bed was broken and the whole floor seemed to slope sideways. But other than that it was a pretty nice hotel and a really affordable night. Ideal for solo travelers "

"The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!"
