Inside was clean, ample space for 10 with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, kitchen well stocked. The extra chairs and table were what was needed for our family. The outside firepit was very nice. Game barn was enjoyed, but some games needed attention/repair. The outside needed repairs and MUCH andscaping attention. We think this house was overpriced due to the neighborhood and outside conditions.

Great Place, Excellent Owners

This place is great to get a break from the city. Nice hot tub (clean!) and fire pit. Plenty of fun games to do as well. The owner was easy to communicate with and is focussed on you having a good time. Would stay again.

A fun quick stay

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Host was communicative and accommodating and check in/out were smooth and simple. This house seems like it gets a lot of use, but was clean and comfortable overall. We were surprised that there is no real oven, just a large countertop convection/toaster oven, which worked fine for our needs. We appreciated the plentiful dishes and cutlery, but otherwise the kitchen furnishings are pretty basic. The "fun barn" kept the kids busy and entertained, and we really enjoyed the fire pit area out back!

Great getaway for families and friends

Cabin was great to hang out in over the holidays. Sample space and within 15-20 minutes of great diners and hiking locations. Host Ryan was awesome, responsive and helpful.

generally satisfied. But, unfortunately, one of our married couples returned home because they simply could not sleep in the room where the boiler is standing and making noise. We are not satisfied with the cleanliness. Dust, cobwebs everywhere, curtains in the bathroom very dirty, bed linen with holes or stains. The rooms and bathrooms are inconvenient. and the great room has no ceiling at all and because of that we woke up the kids with our noise because we just went up the stairs. I think for the money we paid we should have a clean house. it prevented us from fully enjoying our vacation.

Short Hiking Trip

The host of this property was very helpful and offered suggestions for sites and trails to visit. The photos in the listing are very accurate and the property was nice and clean upon arrival. Would definitely recommend this house, with hocking hills close by and tons to do with indoor games and a hot tub, it makes for a great trip!

Wedding Weekend

Cabin served as accommodations for Bride, Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaids for wedding at nearby Riser Barn. It was also the perfect location for the rehearsal dinner at Hocking Hills State Park Lodge. Everyone agreed the cabin was exceptionally well appointed and comfortable. Everything we needed, except food drinks and toiletries was provided. The host went out of his way to make sure our needs were met. I would certainly stay at this property again and recommend it others as well.

Great Experience and communication

The last review scared us a little bit since we were bringing kids to the property. Owner informed us they switched cleaning companies. He wasnā€™t lying, the property was very clean and tidy. The cabin is nicely located near hocking hills trails. The place worked out perfect. Owner communication was fantastic. Any questions we had he answered within minutes. Very helpful. The Traeger smoker is a very nice addition. A+++

We celebrated my daughterā€™s birthday with Hocking Hills hikes and a lovely evening at this luxury lodge. We took the master suite upstairs, while my daughter and her friends stayed in the remainder of the bedroooms downstairsā€” perfect. Outdoor fire and hot tub were amazing. Great stay!

Fun for everyone!

We had an awesome time! Ryan was a great host, very communicative before and during our stay. The house itself was very comfortable, with something for everyone in our group. The kids loved the foosball, hot tub and were super excited with the bunk beds! The adults enjoyed sitting outside in front of the fire, late into the night, chatting away. We were all able to relax after all the hiking we did. Thanks so much for hosting us, Ryan and also accommodating our request to check out later. We found this area so beautiful, Iā€™m sure weā€™ll be back!
