"Perfect place if your looking to getaway for the weekend to unwind; Penny Lane was just the right size for a family of 4. The kids enjoyed walking to the lake for some fishing and enjoyed their time outdoors. We'll definitely be coming back to visit. Ragan and Andy were great hosts and were either a phone call away or making their rounds on the property if we needed anything. "

"This gem is tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. The host is a great communicator and we felt like we were living our best life! Swimming in the private pool at sunset, every amenity and then some at our disposal and restful sleep. We enjoyed great proximity to museums, Austin and the cute town of Smithville. "Howdy Ranch was the perfect bookend to our summer. We wanted a weekend away to enjoy each other and be outdoors. The pond was loved by all including the dogs! The water toys (john boat, kayak and paddleboat) were great to have access to. We did a lot of front porch sitting, dock fishing, cooking on the fire pit and admiring the sunset. Disclaimer, we have no idea if the tvs work…never had a reason to turn them on! "

"The stay was amazing! When we arrived the inside was a bit hot but once you turn the air on it cools down quickly. The ambience of the interior makes you feel at home I love the country. "The house was amazing, the property was well taken care of it had all the accommodations we could ever ask for . The host walked us through the house and showed us how to turn everything on and off, and showed us all the areas and how to properly maintain them and then left us alone for the whole stay.
