"Room was very dirty! There was hair in the shower, on the floor, on the pillows. Dried spills on the floor. Didn’t even sleep under the bedding because of how dirty it was. There was a sign in the lobby that says no pets allowed. The TV was very staticky and there was no back on the remote so you had to hold the batteries in to use it. If it wouldn’t have been 1am when I arrived after a long travel day, I would have left and gone to a different place."

"Really like UGH - our son goes to UU and this is excellent location to be close to campus. I was disappointed I booked day of and didn’t get a better deal. Definitely over priced at $266/night. Can find much cheaper places in SLC but we were in a bind. Excellent breakfast! "

"This place is fun to go to once in a while as a quick vacay. The rooms are designed in fun themes and and nice ambiance. The downfall is this place needs a good go through. Lots of band aid fixes that should bw taken care of around the building. My room had 5 or 6 2x4s horizontally set up under the bed becuase the slats were broken or bowed all out of place and the joints between the headboards/running and foot boards were loose and wobble/ricketing (😅) Those are easy fixes for the comfort of...

"The room was clean. Courteous and helpful staff. Nice location with nearby shops and restaurants within walking distance. Has a small, wooded park behind the property. A 12 to 15 minute drive to either downtown or University of Utah."

The couch and chairs had ripped cushions and seams, but not terrible or gross to sit on. There was some wear and tear noted in the showers, but again, not too bad. Breakfast was good, with options including omelettes, waffles, and cereal. The kids enjoyed the pool, though the water slide wasn’t open at all. Overall, it was a good, quick stay and worth the cost.
