Built on a hillside with beautiful views overlooking Christoval and the Texas Hill Country.
Over 200 oak trees, rock ledges, abundant wildlife, birds and
dark, quite nights perfect for stargazing.
Bluebonnets and wildflowers when in season.

An awesome limestone block building with covered parking, unique decor, comfortable bedding, spacious dressing/bathroom, walk in shower, luggage table, mini fridge, microwave and coffee bar.
Binoculars provided to use while sitting on your private patio or walking around the entire property.
Enjoy the beautiful views, watching wildlife and birds at the game feeder.

"River of Nuts Lounge" is a separate common area building.

Paved road to property with strict 25 mph speed limit. There is no street lighting from Highway 277 to property. Be extra careful crossing the South Concho River crossing,
it is a one lane bridge. Courteous to traffic from other direction.
Light Reflectors Only on bridge at night.

South Concho River public access is only 2 miles from property.
Bring your kayak, fishing pole and swimsuit.
River access also at Puge Park in town. Take a long, beautiful kayak trip up the river.
There is no river access on Christoval Casitas property.

WARNING:
There is only one way in and out from Highway 277 to our property.
On Mineral Wells Road, you have to cross the South Concho River on a one lane, low water crossing bridge.
It rarely happens, but if there is heavy rainfall in the area, the bridge can flood and there is no way in or out of property.
Please check our weather conditions before your arrival date.
If there is any concern, please contact us!

If the bridge is closed on your arrival date, Contact Vrbo.

There is usually time to leave property unless a hard rain overnight.
Property is high up on hill and safe.
River will reside anywhere from a few hours to several days.

If you can 't leave property, you will not be charged for addition lodging, past, your reserved time.

Christoval Casitas is not responsible if bridge is flooded, and you can't get to the property, or unable to leave the property to attend events!
