Explore Historic Christiansted, just a 5-minute drive away, with duty-free shopping, historic buildings, including Fort Christiansvaern, and numerous bars and restaurants scattered along the boardwalk and throughout the town. From Christiansted, you can take a jeep tour of the island, a boat and snorkeling trip to Buck Island Reef National Monument, a dive boat to one of the many fabulous dive sites around the island or a fishing boat for some sport fishing. Protestant Cay, with its water sports center, is just a short boat ride away.
Take a kayak tour around the Salt River National Park & Ecological Preserve. Drive along the scenic North Shore Road to Cane Bay, home to the world famous “Wall”, where a beach dive will suddenly drop off to 13,000 feet, or go for a guided horseback ride, then enjoy a beverage or meal at one of the area’s beach bar restaurants.
