"First room we went it smelled so strongly of smoke I had to call the front desk. The staff were very understanding and put us in a new room. That one smelt like tacos but better than smoke. We got use to the smell and it was fine. All that matters was bed was clean. Totally fine if you’re in a super budget but there are definitely better places around"

"We asked about early check in before the Railbird Festival and the staff gladly let us check in at 12:30. The property was very clean(almost sterile feeling). Parking was a breeze and breakfast was great! There are many food options close. Just around the corner you’ll find a Kroger, Walmart and a mall. The food at the ground floor restaurant 33 Staves was excellent and I would strongly recommend to try it out especially if you want to stay away from fast food places at the giant mall. "The hotel was very clean and nice. We would love to stay there again but it’s doubtful we will. We were in town for a weekend that brought in a lot of tourism in Lexington. Because of that, we paid for one night what you typically pay for 3-4. No complaints on that- it is what it is. But when we checked in we asked for late check out. "We typically stay at nicer hotels but, were only going to be there to sleep for the night so 8 hours. It was fine for that, but conditions in the room were not great. The shower faucet was broken, which made it difficult to get hot water. There was plaster and tile chipping off the walls in the bathroom and TP holder broken. Good for 8 hours but would not want to stay beyond that."

"Breakfast is great and we love the friendly dedicated person who runs it. Pool and outdoor areas are clean and fun. There are snacks and drinks available at front desk. Work out area and public barhroooms are always well maintained! Perfect place to stay!!"
