"This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the action in Monteverde. We booked it in order to be close to Selvatura park for zip lining. It has a great view and Evelyn was very communicative and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The kids loved waking to the howler monkeys in the morning and watching all of the hummingbirds on the property. Highly recommended!"

"We had to change last minute and the Villas Macadamia had a casita. Turned out to be the best place we have stayed. Plenty of space for the whole family, close to town and quiet. "

"This was an awesome property. I went with my spouse and adult children(17-22) and their friends. Total of 8 people. The house was very clean and open. The pool was exceptional. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful. The best part was the caretakers(Arturo and Maribel). Arturo was up early to get the pool and backyard set up for us to enjoy for the day. Maribel cooked us an awesome dinner our last night there. They were so nice and helpful the entire time we were there. They almost felt like...

The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. "I don’t have words to describe this place, it is like heaven on Earth. We are sad to leave. We will come back.The house has absolutely everything we needed. Also a gentleman named Manu was very kind and showed around and took us for a wonderful night tour."

"We had a great time at this home. Carlos was an amazing host who went above and beyond with friendly communication and problem solving. This home has a "to die for view," and beautiful interior. Make sure you have a 4x4 and preferably off-road tires. If you don't have a 4x4 do not book this place. Overall amazing stay!"

"My family of 4 had such an incredible time hanging out in the heated pool at the home with the spectacular views overlooking the Monteverde Cloud Forest, that it was tough to find inspiration to leave the property to go do other things. "Villa Golondrina is in a lovely location, with great views. It was clean and comfortable, with modern conveniences. The hosts left a nice collection of eggs, bread, etc. Carlos was great to work with. The signage to the location once we got close to San Luis was quite good. Lots of birds in the yard, on neighborhood roads, and on the trail to the river. The one potential drawback is that it is more in San Luis than in Monte Verde, and the road can be rough. Mas é cansativo subir e descer para o quarto. Café da manhã mediano: vc escolha uma das opções. Quarto espaçoso e vista linda. Hotel tem potencial, está num lugar lindo. Excelente localização. Mas precisa de uma reforma para modernizar e há espaço para construir uma piscina aquecida que sentimos falta. "
