"This hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. Canal walk, aqueduct and tunnel all within walking distance. Enough choice for places to eat right on the doorstep. Hotel was clean, and our room had everything we needed (apart from a hairdryer!). Good value for money too. Would recommend."

"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. "The breakfast was really good as were the evening menu choices. In the room, the guide understated the amenities. It was modest about the WIFI capabilities which I thought were actually very good. Similarly, there was a reference to decaffeinated coffee being available for the room on request but it was actually already there."

"Room was clean, lots of parking. There are signs of aging carpets and door locks,"

"Honestly the worst place I've ever stayed! Do not stay here, the rooms are dirty and the noise is ridiculous. You will not sleep! Take this as a warning to go elsewhere!"
