"Awesome time exploring Lake Santeelah and Fontana Lake. My grandfather grew up in Robbinsville and being up here brings me back to my chikdhood coming up here with him and my family. Just an amazing time. The charcoaled steaks were a bonus!"

"The Trails End Cabin was amazing, beautiful for our 2 day stay. Wish we had more time there (could have stayed for ever). Owner provided all details for easy check-in Cabin had everything you need. She made a special stop in when we arrived and whirlpool didnt work due to storm surge. Really comfortable bed and pillows. "

"We came to Townsend to celebrate our 32 wedding anniversary and this home did not disappoint. We were minutes from restaurants and things to see and do. We also saw a momma bear and her 2 cubs from the back porch! I also give the lady that owns this home a 10/10 as well. I will definitely be back again! This review is coming from someone who has stayed in over 75 or more rentals over the years. "

"The cabin was well maintained and cozy. If you want to feel you are in a beautiful mountain forest surrounded by nature you won’t be disappointed. This is the perfect place to unplug with a fabulous lodge only minutes away when you want to reconnect.Liz is a fabulous owner who is friendly and accommodating. She helped make our stay perfect. "Just as advertised. Centrally located despite being very scenic. Great for our 16 month old granddaughter with sturdy gate on the stairs, pac and play and high chair on site. Plenty of room for 7 adults with living area and bedrooms both up and down so the early birds didn't disturb the night owls. Dining for 10 and huge well kitchen stocked with everything we even thought about needing. Kitchen on the second floor so probably not good for people who can't climb staira unless they want to...

"We Loved our stay here. We were in the area for our daughter’s wedding and this place was super convenient. The cabin was super clean and nicely decorated. My only regret was that we weren’t able to spend more time there and enjoy the amenities such as the beautiful creek, which you can hear babbling in the master bedroom with a window cracked just slightly! Talk about relaxing? We would definitely love to stay again sometime on a more leisurely trip. The host, Jo, was very helpful and always...

"Absolutely beautiful location! After a long day on the motorcycle it felt amazing to take a dip in the picturesque Squally Creek. The cabin was cute and just what we needed. Brian’s directions he sent were spot on. We used GPS to Cedar Cliff Church, then followed his directions to the cabin with no problems. I will be looking forward to staying here again soon. "

"The cabin was great. Just off the beaten path enough to be quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for quiet, and comfortable this is your place. Super cozy, I was really impressed by the comfort of the place. The smell of fresh cedar and wood hits you as soon as you open the door. Exactly what you would expect and want from a log cabin. Will def stay there again. Only real issue was the shower, if you want warm water turn the knob to cold and don’t expect a spa type shower it’s gonna do...
