"We enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient with a good selection of beers and spirits at the bar. We ate dinner one night and the food was well cooked and of a very good quality. "This was a magnificent old coach house with a very historical feel to it, but modern conveniences. It was a spacious room with very comfortable bed and loved the window seat. I had breakfast and a light dinner in the restaurant, both of which were excellent. There was no lift so not recommended for people with mobility issues."

We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. "
