The Thatched Cottage offers a rare opportunity to holiday right on the white sandy beach in West Wittering. This beautiful and traditional thatched family home has charm in abundance, a real combination of old and new. Located on East Strand in the prestigious private Cakeham Estate, the West Wittering beach car park with cafe and surf school is just a five to ten minute walk away and its a lovely stroll up to the National Trust's East Head. West Wittering village is a couple of minutes in the car and East Wittering village with its extensive amenities is just five minutes in the car or a leisurely 20 minute walk down the beach.

The house sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 upstairs bedrooms. Comprising:

Bedroom 4 - Queen size bed

The spacious master bedroom enjoys a king size bed, beautiful sea views and a newly modernised en-suite bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Two further bedrooms with king size beds also enjoy sea views. The fourth smaller bedroom faces the rear garden with views of the countryside beyond. It has a smaller queen sized bed, still suitable for a couple or possibly a single person. There is a family bathroom upstairs with walk in shower and there is an additional WC next to the front door downstairs.

The downstairs living areas are extensive. The kitchen, with garden access, has been completely modernised with new units and brand new modern and high end appliances. Off the entrance hall is the spacious dining room (with kitchen access via a hatch). The dining table sits in front of large bay patio doors with access out to the extensive gardens and views of the sea through the pretty arched gate at the end of the brick path. Off the dining area is the comfortable sitting room with sofas and smart TV and beyond the sitting room, a games room with table tennis table.

The Thatched Cottage sits within an extensive 1.5 acre plot . The rear of the property has a very large lawn area with gravel drive accessing the property from East Strand. There is ample parking for up to 6 vehicles at least. The gardens surround the property with more lawn and bedded areas on the beach front side as well as patio for outdoor dining and charcoal BBQ. The beach is just metres away from the property and is accessed through the pretty arched gate so holiday makers have the best of both worlds, the beach right on their doorstep but complete privacy whilst enjoying some precious family time in the house and gardens.
