Right on the lake– you simply can't beat this location! The big beautiful windows throughout the apartment take full advantage of the incredible views you can get from my place. Let the sound of the waves rock you to sleep at night, then greet the day with an incredible sunrise as the rays peek out over the water each morning. The unit itself is completely rehabbed with brand new furnishings and appliances so you will have every modern comfort during your relaxing lakeside retreat! Book today!


Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate.  If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.


Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only.  Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.


Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group.  Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.


Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.


Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.


1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.

2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property.  Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.

3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.

4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.

5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.

6.) Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and pet fee paid. You will be charged $500 if you bring an unauthorized animal.

7.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.

8.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests.  If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.

10.) Lost and Found:  We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. Please be sure to check the home (including all drawers and closets) before you depart to ensure you have all of your personal belongings.

* To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of your stay, provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. This information is collected for verification purposes only and is not stored or otherwise used for any other purpose.

* We do additional verifications using AutoHost after you book and we reserve the right to reject bookings that fail our tests. Additionally, you must have a good track record on Airbnb as a guest.

Know before you go
This trip was disappointing to say the least. I was excited for this find, as the hotels in the area were subpar. First, I was told the unit came with a parking spot and there was no noise issue as the reviews complained about both. A few hours before check in I realized I did not receive check in info. I downloaded the app suggested and there was no code. It took a while to get through to automated systems. Emailing etc to get the code. Upon arrival there was no WiFi info, no information at all. Again it took a while to get through to someone. As I was making tea, I noticed an ant and then noticed several others. I went to get a paper towel there was literally 1 piece left. I went yo turn in for the night, noticed a layer of dust on the sound machine, the lamp shades and a dead bug hanging. Went to put my phone down on the end table and there were more ants!! I shut the lights off for bed but it was bright as day because the outdoor light was right outside the master bedroom. A simple black out shade would solve this. The bathroom had no foot towel for after shower. The following day I emailed management about the parking spot with no response until 30 min before check out, the following day. I stayed at a hotel the last night bc we parked a mile away and the ants and dust were gross.

Nice place
Place was clean and beds were great. Very nice kitchen and being in the water is neat. The location is perfect for someone who doesn’t care if it’s off the beaten path a little. Parking is tough after 8pm. That would be my only complaint.

Amazing lakefront property
It was an amazing stay with plenty of room. My dad has never stayed in a place so nice. The shower was to die for. We give this place ten out of ten! would stay here again!!

Nice place but needs a deep clean
The place was nice, modern, and comfortable and had all the necessary things such as salt and pepper detergents, etc. However, when we got there in the small bedroom the bed was placed in a weird location there was a bold that looked like it was there to hold water that at one point came from the ceiling?... I also looked under the bed in the big bedroom and it was full of big balls of dirt with hairs on it. Under the sink was also dirty. The trash cans inside were dirty as well and the spice rack looked like it needed wiping. I would have liked to have a place to park the rental car as well.

Lovely apartment, awful check-in
The apartment is very nice. It is newly redone so everything is fresh and clean. The view was lovely and there are several small parks within walking distance. The Rogers Park neighborhood is super cute. Parking is a challenge but there's a garage about a 12 minute walk away. Use Spot Hero to find and pay for it. The only downside to the stay was the check-in, but it was so bad. We didn't get check-in info until 90 minutes beforehand despite repeated contacts with Red Awning over several days. We finally got the info only after calling VRBO directly. A very stressful start to the vacation.

Clean and quiet
We had trouble checking in (did not receive check in email) and had to contact RedAwning representative. They were able to get us the needed info relatively quickly. Property is quiet and very clean. Has basic amenities (needs blankets for pull out bed). We had 3 adults, a senior and a teen… enough space for everyone.

Rogers Park Excursion
The property was well maintained and decorated. It was very comfortable for a small family or two couples. Three negatives 1) they DO NOT have a deck, its a parking lot right outside the sliding glass door to the dinning area, so your view is of parked cars and sort of kind of the lake. That also means people walk by after parking while you are eating. 2) Parking is challenging. 3) The nearest usable beach is a bit of a walk or short drive away.
