"The location was perfect for us for a few days to get away. Being on the water was perfect. We loved being able to bring our fur babies with us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Tina was a great host. We hope to go back again. "

"Quiet, cozy and private cabin stocked with everything you need!We enjoyed fishing in the pond and dining at High Tides in Colonial Beach.Also visited Westmoreland State Park for hiking & more fishing!We definitely hope to return!"

"Very clean, tastefully updated, great kitchen, amazing river views. Front porch and second floor balcony are perfect for watching wildlife, including bald eagels, osprey, sea gulls, and dolphins. Comfy, generouly sized beds. Quiet. Safe."

"The recently updated Blue Heron Cottage was neat and clean and the beds were truly comfortable. The cottage is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Colonial Beach. The attractions at Westmoreland State Park, including Fossil Beach, are a short drive away."

"House was nice..clean and had all the supplies we needed...pool was great and view of the water was great..."

"Super, super cute mid-century mod renovated cozy house, walking distance to many things in Colonial Beach. Located just off the main road, this is a great stay. Very comfortable, so beautifully decorated, and great outdoor space. The neighborhood is a little strange because it's a mix of a lot of older homes, located behind a 7-11, BUT it is just a humble area and we felt safe. We were glad to be close to a good coffee shop (Love Bites) and a few restaurants. Easy short walk or drive to the...

"I was in the area for one night for business and had my young granddaughter with me. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. Lots of apps available on the TV. Location is close to plenty of restaurants and the beach. The continental breakfast was very nicely set and had lots of variety. I plan on coming back NOT for business just so I can enjoy another stay. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful house located 6-7 blocks from the beach - has everything you would need for a great beach trip, including a beautiful back yard with fire pit and chairs. Earlene, the host, was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Ricky is a great and friendly host. The stay very relaxing and fun. "

"Very nice, clean and comfortable home. The interior was better than the pictures depicted. Our favorite place was the deck where we watched the ducks and swans. We would definitely come back. "

"The host was very responsive and interacted well. The house was perfect for my event. I was able to host a family celebration for a graduation. It was the perfect amount of space for everyone to be comfortable. The only issue was the heating and cooling system but as mention earlier the host was so responsive it never became a big issue. I would definitely book with this host/ property agian."
