Old Cross Roads Cabin 3 bed/2 bath

Enjoy our cozy 3 bed/2 bath home located on Boston Mountain in the Ozark National Forest. You are only 4 mi. from the Buckhorn Trail system offering 60 miles of trails for OHV Enthusiasts with all levels of riding, multiple waterfalls and unbelievable scenery.

We are 9 mi. from Devils Den State park (No OHVs) offering rock formations, caverns an impressive rock dam spans Lee Creek forming Lake Devil, an 8-acre lake for fishing and boating with canoes and pedal boats for rent. The park’s hiking, backpacking, mountain bike, and horseback riding trails lead to the surrounding Ozark National Forest.

3 miles to Beautiful Lee creek, spanning 64 miles across the state. Lee Creek has a stunning Swimming hole, many families find that this is the perfect spot to play in the water, canoe/ float for the afternoon or catch a few fish!

Sit by the fire, ride to the trails, or hike through the forest. We’ve got it all!

Blink cameras are set at the front door, facing the house, and back door for your safety and ours!

Our hosts were very welcoming and even allowed us to check in a day early when our plans had to be changed at the last minute. They also were helpful when we encountered a couple of difficulties during our stay.

The property was portrayed to have a lake or river by the house, but there was no water for for 9 miles. The property was roomy, which was the draw, but it was not what three nature loving women expected. We checked out after the first night and found a 5 star cabin 2 miles from there.

Great weekend getaway

My husband and I took stayed with our kids and had the best stay. The house was very clean, had everything we needed and plenty of space for the kids to run out energy! We visited Devils Den state park and that was a very quick drive for us! Would absolutely stay again! Thank you so much for the host and their great communication with us!

This is literally a cabin in the woods. The road to get there is paved and gravel. The gravel portions are in better condition then the paved portions. We felt the rental was in much need of some cleaning and renovating. The front porch is sinking so is not in line with the front door. The interior is dark, not like the pictures! The kitchen cabinets are in poor condition. Several light fixtures either didn't work or did not have light bulbs in them. We have rented from VRBO on numerous occasions but this property did not measure up to our past rentals. The Host was very responsive and helpful.

Great Quaint Cabin

If you're looking for a quaint cabin in a great location for Devils Den, this is it. Was able to enjoy all the amenities of home while enjoying the surrounding scenic beauty of the area. Van Buren is not too far if you need a restaurant and/or groceries. Suzanne was amazing at communicating and made sure we had everything we need.

Convenient for Hiking

We spent a couple of days over Spring Break to go hiking with our grandkids. Owners gave us a heads up of a few things and were good with their communication. They were quick to respond to my questions.

As you are entering the place, front steps are in terrible condition. The oven was really dirty. One half of a stove chimney is just sticking out of ceiling where they pulled the stove out, but left 1/2 of flue. This was in living room. The furnace filters were Jerry-rigged on the front of the a/c furnurce..not close to correct size.This was in open where you could see. The register in the bathroom was stuffed with something. There was a burned up exhaust fan in the bathroom that was all black from the burning with no cover on it. To top it off, there were several wasps flying around the inside. I’m not a really fancy person, but it was evident that this place hadn’t been taken care of and made me wonder was else that we couldn’ see, was wrong. There were several excellent reviews on this location….even if everything above was fixed, it might be ok. It is beyond me how anyone would rate excellent.

Loved this country cabin!

This cabin was exactly what you'd hope, and more! It's about a 15 minute drive from Devil's Den State Park, where we spent a lot of our time. The living room had good space and comfortable seating. The side tables with the built-in power outlets and USB's were so convenient! The bedrooms were spacious, with fans that were barely needed because the a/c was plenty cool. The bathrooms were both clean and the showers had good pressure. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pans and utensils, plus a Keurig. Several relatives have already asked for the booking info because they're interested in staying there. We'd certainly stay again.

Home Away From Home

This cabin was perfect for a getaway. It was extremely peaceful. The place was clean and welcoming. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Even better, the location was only 5 minutes from the girls' favorite spot: Lee Creek swimming hole.

Close yet far away

We loved the location of this home. It was rural enough to be quiet. Had deer in field and no neighbors but was close to several small towns with entertainment close by. Devils Den park, Saturday night races, big lake with boat rentals all in different directions from house. Would defiantly recommend to others.

Great place to stay got riding Buckhorn OHV Trails

Arranged early check-in with host and found everything as advertised. Clean and comfy accommodations as well as excellent location made our weekend a wonderful experience. Plenty of trailer parking space. Easy access to trails, Everything we needed in the kitchen and baths, as well as a nice fire ring in the yard.
