We welcome you to stay in our cosy home, Meadow Retreat, in beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water, one of the most iconic villages in the Cotswolds. Just a short stroll from the gentle River Windrush and its low stone bridges, our home sits within easy reach of the village’s charming tearooms, independent shops, and welcoming pubs. It’s an ideal base for guests wanting to enjoy the peaceful, picture-perfect atmosphere that makes Bourton such a beloved destination!

Inside, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen and living room designed for relaxing after days out exploring. The comfortable seating area includes a double sofa bed for additional guests. Upstairs, the home offers two inviting bedrooms, one with a double bed and a second with a single, alongside a modern family bathroom.

Please note, due to the slanted ceilings, the beds are a little lower than usual bedframes.

The location is perfect for discovering the wider Cotswolds. Scenic walking routes begin right from the doorstep, leading through rolling countryside and neighbouring villages such as Lower Slaughter and Stow-on-the-Wold. Family-friendly attractions like Birdland Park & Gardens and the Model Village are just minutes away, while Cheltenham and its historic regency streets are an easy drive.

Whether you’re here for long walks, cosy pubs, or simply to slow down and enjoy the charm of village life, our home offers a warm, comfortable base for your stay in this beautiful part of Gloucestershire!

Please note that there is parking for one car only at the property. If you are arriving with more than one vehicle, any additional cars will need to be parked elsewhere, such as on nearby roads or in one of the local public car parks

Please note:
We verify your details before your booking can begin and this must be completed 48 hours prior to your stay. You’ll receive a secure link to our deposit, damage waiver and ID verification platform to complete this step. You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £5.00 fee to cover payment processing fees) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.
