The Space: Upon entering the cottage, you'll immediately be struck by the high-quality finish and attention to detail. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, @Nespresso coffee machine and double oven making it the perfect place to whip up a meal for your family or friends. The cozy living room features a charming log burner, perfect for chilly evenings, while the dining area offers a great space for enjoying meals together.
Bifold doors open onto the large dog friendly private garden with a 12 ft trampoline, Webber BBQ, and outdoor seating area, providing the perfect space for al fresco dining and entertaining, offering a peaceful oasis to relax and enjoy the stunning Cotswold countryside.
The upstairs of Coal Merchants Cottage features three bedrooms, each with their own unique character and charm. The comfortable beds are adorned with thick linen, ensuring a relaxing night's sleep. Each bedroom is equipped with a SMART TV, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy their favourite shows. The roll top bathtub is perfect for soaking away stress, while the walk-in shower provides a refreshing start to the day for those eager to explore the amazing Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Outside, there is off-road parking for one car plus free on-street parking for additional cars, making it easy for you to explore the Cotswolds at your own pace. In addition, the cottage also offers an electric car charger, perfect for those who want to travel in an eco-friendly way.
For those who need to work remotely, there's a private office with standing desk, glass dry erase boards and superfast broadband wifi, perfect for getting work done.
Located just a short distance from the most beautiful Cotswold Villages of Bibury, Bourton on the Water, and Slaughters, Coal Merchants Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the area. It's also conveniently located just 5 miles from Cheltenham and 8 miles from Daylesford, making it a great location for attending local festivals and events.

The Neighborhood: The Cotswolds is a picturesque region in England known for its rolling hills, quaint villages, and historic architecture. Andoversford village is in an area of natural beauty and surrounded by rolling hills, Cotswold stone, sheep and beautiful villages. The village has a great local pub, small shop and play park for children. Conveniently central location to explore the Cotswolds, never more than 20 minutes from the most visited towns and idyllic villages of Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Stow on the Wold, Cirencester and Cheltenham. Perfect for those seeking a rural escape with charming countryside charm. Visitors can explore charming market towns, enjoy scenic walks and bike rides, and visit historic homes and gardens there is something for all the family.
Getting Around: We have off-road parking for one car with an electric car charger and free on street parking for further cars. I would recommend using a car to get around but there is a bus stop just to the left of our house, that has buses running to Cheltenham and surrounding Cotswold villages.
Other Things to Note: We have a few policies in place to ensure all guests enjoy a relaxing, safe, and comfortable stay:
🕓 Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early arrival or late departure may be available on request, but is not guaranteed.
🧍♂️ The lead guest must be 25 years or older. We reserve the right to request photo identification.
🚫 No parties or events – this is a peaceful countryside setting, and we ask all guests to respect that.
🚭 No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
🐾 Dogs: We welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs (maximum of two). Dogs must be kept downstairs only and off all furniture.
✨ No fake tan, please – it can cause permanent stains to our luxury bedding and towels. Any damage may incur a replacement or cleaning fee.
🔑 Lost keys: A £50 fee applies for lost keys to cover locksmith or replacement costs.
🔌 🔌 EV Charging Available We have an EV charger available on-site. Charging is offered at a flat rate of £10 per day. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring an electric vehicle so we can make sure the charger is available and accessible.
