Green Farm House is a Grade II listed, beautifully refurbished, Cotswold holiday home which sleeps ten guests (adult only groups where the majority of members are under 30 years of age are not permitted), in five well-appointed bedrooms, with two spacious bathrooms. On the ground floor you have a stylish kitchen with an island which leads through to the spacious dining room. There is a cosy sitting and music room, both with lovely features including exposed stone, original beams, inglenook fireplace and an open fireplace. Green Farm House has a picturesque walled garden with raised lawn, patio area and ample seating, a perfect space to enjoy all year round.

Green Farm House has been carefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. We politely request that guests are respectful of the property and its contents, and we have set up some house rules as guidance.
House Rules... For adult only bookings, the majority of the group must be over the age of 30. Adult only groups where more than half of guests are under the age of 30 are not allowed Green Farm House has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours, and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00 Day guests (or any guests not stated on the booking form) are not permitted No shoes to be worn in the house (guests are advised to bring slippers) Please note that the fireplace in the dining room is for decorative purposes only and cannot be used There are a few windows in the house with red tags on them – please do not attempt to open them as they are old and fragile The posts on the landing are fragile and we ask that you do not lean on them

The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 guests (including infants in cots) Bed linen and towels are provided Free on street parking is available nearby 1 travel cot, 1 highchair and 2 stair gates are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided) Sorry, strictly no pets Strong WiFi (Download speed 43.66 Mbps/Upload speed 125.17 Mbps) Mobile phone reception varies depending on provider 3 Smart TVs with Freeview (guests to use their own login details) Enclosed walled garden Charcoal BBQ (guests are responsible for providing charcoal and cleaning BBQ after use) Oil fired central heating system Starter supply of wood provided for the open fires from October to April only There are steep and narrow staircases, along with steps between rooms (due to the steep stairs to the second floor, this level is not suitable for infants) There is a stone step into Green Farm House and steps up to the garden The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire (over 30s only) Events are not permitted A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00 The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted For security reasons, CCTV is installed at the front entry of the property, facing outward, and we kindly ask that guests refrain from touching or interfering with the camera

Our group had the most wonderful stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, spacious. Beautifully done and had everything we needed. Our only problem….we wish we could have stayed longer!

A lovely 2 night break in this peaceful village.
8 adults had a very comfortable stay at Green Farm House . The accommodation was very spacious and the kitchen extremely well equipped . We enjoyed an open fire with wood and kindling provided . All of us had a lovely time .

Great large property in Cotswolds
We stayed here for a couple of nights. It’s a great base for exploring the Cotswolds, though should flag you need a car as there are no amenities in walking distance.
The rooms are all great size, and the kitchen was well stocked. Instructions on how to ‘use’ the property were v clear.
Decor of the property was also v nice.

A great home in a lovely Cotswolds village
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Green Farm House in the Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived, everything was just right. The house was spotless and clearly very well maintained, with every detail thoughtfully cared for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the surrounding countryside.
The kitchen was fantastic—well-equipped and perfect for cooking meals together. We especially loved spending time in the garden, which was beautifully kept and such a peaceful spot to relax.
The location couldn’t have been better. Tucked in a picturesque village, it was easy to get to and made a perfect base for discovering all that the Cotswolds has to offer.
All in all, this stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Charming period farmhouse in heart of Cotswolds
This was a great place for a short break with the extended family and friends. There are two lounges to choose from (one with an open fire), a well-stocked kitchen with instant hot water and kitchen range, comfortable bedrooms, and a walled garden and patio totally safe for kids. On the top floor there were bunk beds for the boys, together with table football and a games console/ screen that they loved. The village itself is charming, with quintessential Cotswold stone dwellings and its own playing field. It is within easy reach of Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters and Northleach. We were able to park 3 cars directly outside in the street. On top of all this, StayCotswold were helpful and easy to deal with at all times.

Needs a deep clean
Key safe box not obvious needs to be documented somewhere that it’s round the side of house
Only 1 loo roll per toilet
Mattress in main bedroom needs replacing very thin needed to use duvets as a topper
The house needs a deep clean especially the kitchen sticky shelves and window sill
Pubic hairs behind the door in main bathroom (I have a pic)
Mould in en-suite bathroom smells damp
Minimum logs provided with cheap fire lighters
Such a shame a lovely home and location, but seriously my husband and I both had back troubles after sleeping on that mattress. We normally stay in unique home stays and it’s like chalk and cheese (normally get a food basket, milk butter bread jam local produce a bottle of wine) we had cheap tea bags and a 1/4 pint of milk. Would we use again it’s a definite No. everything done on the cheap. We had to head out the next morning for loo rolls, logs fire lighters etc. Maybe the owners need to be made aware cleaning co not doing a thorough job?
