The hotel is situated in a very central place in Paro, only a few minutes walk to a lot of restaurants and less than 10min taxi drive to the airport. "The room was very clean, the bedding was fantastic, and the views from my room were spectacular. The restaurant food was average and didn't have several of the menu selections I wanted. Service at check-in was quite slow, with nobody around for the first 30 minutes after my arrival when I found myself all alone. "Central in Paro.Paro is smaller than Thimbu and acording my oppinion more worth visiting. Depending of time of visit you may need varm clouth because nighttime it can be below 0 degrees celsius. It is amzing there still is a people not destroid by civilisation.They are genuin friendly and you will not see "white trash" in Bhutan.The fee 100 USD per night is used for free school and healthcare for the local people. "Pros - The rooms were extremely spacious and large. The view around the hotel was amazing with the river just along the property. The bathrooms were extraordinarily huge. Cons - the bathroom floors were marbel which during the period of december were almost unbearable to walk on barefoot. Otherwise highly recommend. "
