Surprising Wintergreen

Condo was clean, comfortable and the views were amazing, some of the best Iā€™ve had in the Blue Ridge. The resort is very well maintained and the roads are paved and easy to navigate, making access to the property stress free. This did not diminish the wonderful views whatsoever. The resort has several restaurants, a number of hiking trails, overlooks and other amenities that can be used by guests. Near the resort are wineries, cider and beer breweries, distilleries and plenty of food options if you leave the resort. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had and registered us to use the resort pool (although we were unable to take advantage). The elevator and luggage carts were also greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this property and hope to be able to visit it again.

We had a perfect stay, the condo has everything you need. It was a great stay and good communication with the host. We were lucky to see a lightning storm, so cool when you are so far up! Thank you for letting us stay!

Great condo, needs a way to lock front keypad door.

Great location, clean, and very roomy. Security of the front door should be a concern to all!! My wife stayed at the condo while the rest went skiing to find out that someone entered the room unexpectedly. She said someone was banging on the door- she didn't answer due to not sure who it was and didn't have a uniform on. He entered the room while she was alone and said he was a maintenance man and they was a water leak that was running down to the condo underneath us. He checked the bathrooms and left. Shortly after 2 men barged in and was looking at everything again.This went on/off for hours. She was worried and couldn't reach me due to cell coverage at the slope. I realize maintenance has the code to all units however it looks like they would call the unit or contact number on reservation to warn about a maintenance issues. I didn't appreciate someone entering the room without any knowledge and the fact that YOU CANNOT LOCK THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE!!! We slept with a chair wedged in the door knob and my Smith & Wesson at my side. The host called me about the issue and made it RIGHT. **This review don't reflect the host only the condo maintenance operations.

Gorgeous views!

We loved our stay at this wonderful unit! Owners were very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. The elevator made it so much easier when unloading and loading the car with our 3 and 5 year old boys. The views from this unit are gorgeous. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and watched several deer just below us. The unit was very comfortable for our family of 4 and boys slept soundly in twin beds. We had a wonderful weekend of skiing, snow tubing and just relaxing. Weā€™d definitely stay here again!

Perfect!!

Incredible condo at the top of the mountain. Super views from the all the windows and the balcony. Super clean property with all the amenities. Host is extremely friendly and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again! I highly recommend this condo for visits to Wintergreen.

Iā€™ve said it once Iā€™ll say it again, the views are spectacular! Nothing like watching the sunrise from your bed!! Something you have to experience to truly appreciate! The accommodations are more than adequate and comfortable. Highly recommend! Stayed at quite a few places at wintergreen over the years and this is our favorite.

Holiday Weekend Getaway

There was a mix-up with the door code but once we had the correct code, it was smooth sailing. The condo was comfortable and the view was extraordinaire. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of bath towels & wash clothes for 3 people. Hope to return later in the year for a longer stay.

Beautiful View!

This was a beautiful spot for us to get away and enjoy creation. The host was very responsive when we had trouble with the code and the wifi. The condo was clean and very comfortable and even with the rain we were able to enjoy the outdoors with the panoramic windows in the living room with comfy furniture as well as the dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom has an amazing view as well, but unfortunately one of the large blinds was broken and we couldnt raise it. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of drawers and closet space. There are tons of hikes at the resort and the Parkway is easily accessible by foot. I even saw a bear!

This condo is magnificent to say the least. It's so light and airy and the view is wonderful. The elevator makes it easy to load/unload from the car. On a scale of 1-10 the unit is definitely a 10!

Great place for relaxing and enjoying the mountains.

The unit is comfortable and well-maintained, with lots of nice extras like a jetted tub in the master bath. Great views from both inside and the deck. One morning we were able to watch the sun rise over one mountain while the moon set over a different mountain. The area is quiet but relatively close to the central part of the resort at Wintergreen. A five minute drive or a 20-minute hike down the mountain (and at least 60 minutes to hike back up!) This is a great place to just relax and enjoy the scenery or for a really comfortable home base for day trips to stuff in the local area. Highly recommend.

This property has one of the most beautiful views with lots of large windows overlooking the valley and ridges. The condo was comfortably and stylishly decorated. We did have some trouble checking in because someone -probably the property managers - forgot to set the entry code and the condo was short on paper products, cleaning supplies, trash bags and hot water. Inspite of these minor glitches, we would definitely consider renting this property again,

The views is awesome! The unit was exceptionally clean and convenient to everything on the mountain. The unit has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The only negatives was the hot water heater tripped a breaker while we were there. It took us a while to figure out what was going on and the unit didn't have cable. We just used our own streaming services. Overall my wife and I had a great getaway weekend and this unit made it specieal.

Amazing location.

Amazing host,communication was easy , she allways reply super fast. The cleanliness is not the host problem, they paid to get the sevice, done. The person doibg the job could do a better. Bed sheets were clean, however they should undust once in a while. Other than that everything was nice.
