We had a great 2-week stay, and Bill and Cynthia were perfect hosts. Lots of room in the property, beautiful fresh flowers, and everything we could have needed (down to the waffle maker and slow cooker!) was provided. Our kids had a great time helping feed the goats and chickens, collecting eggs, and experiencing a bit of farm life. Cell signal was not great, and WiFi was intermittent because of weather, so a good opportunity to be grounded with peaceful and beautiful rural views. The location was a good jumping-off point for explorations into Charlottesville (Monticello &c.) and into the Blue Ridge Mountains--we were able to do great day trips on Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, Natural Bridge, and so on. Easy reach to vineyards and breweries. Coming back to the tranquility of the property each time was great--exceptionally clean, good air conditioning, and a wonderful screened-in porch. Thank you so much!
