Built over 100 years ago, this lovingly restored home is among the oldest residences in the city. The home pre-dates Charlotte's recording of deeds and so the actual construction date is unknown. Lived in by mill workers during the heyday of Charlotte's cotton and textile boom, the home is proudly recognized as a historical structure by Charlotte and the state of North Carolina. Walk to nightlife and easy downtown access.

The Space:
The home is situated on a lovely and quiet residential street in the heart of Charlotte's lively Noda arts district. Perfectly located with easy access to center city, two blocks to the light rail, and just steps away from 50+ shops and restaurants. Uber or hop on the light rail and get to center city in 5 minutes, Bank of America Stadium in 7 minutes, South End in 10 minutes, and UNC Charlotte in 15 minutes. Easy access to freeways, a very safe and walkable neighborhood, and in the heart of Charlotte's best nightlife. This home has it all with an unbeatable location.

Historic wood floors and plank ceilings give the home it's historic character. While modern updates and top-of-the line bathroom designs bring into the modern era. A large kitchen that also serves as the home's dining area (no formal dining room), lots of family room seating, 3 large bedrooms, and 4 queen beds make this home spacious and relaxing for both large and small groups.

You'll be staying in the heart of Charlotte's Noda neighborhood. NoDa is Charlotteā€™s historic arts and entertainment district. Whether you are looking for Craft beer, award-winning food, custom gifts, or tattoos youā€™ll find what you need in NoDa.

Getting Around:
Excellently located close to uptown, a 2 blocks to the light rail, and just steps from countless shops and restaurants, getting around is super easy. Grab a Lyft or Uber in just a few minutes and get anywhere you need to be quickly and easily.

Adorable House & Quiet Neighborhood

Our group consisted of 3 adults in their 70s and 2 adults 50 years old. We really were only in the house in the evenings and mornings, but it was a perfect fit for our needs. The upstairs bedroom (2 beds & full bath) worked well for the 50 year olds. The stairs would have been too much for 2 of the older folks. The main level had what they needed in the 2 bedrooms & 1 bath. The only hiccup was quickly corrected by the property manager: the home offers a Kuerig, but no K--cups were on site. After a message to the property manager, K-cups were delivered well before we needed our first cups of coffee!An adorable house in a lovely neighborhood!

Three friends stayed in this house for a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and very well-maintained. And the location was superb. - we could walk to a cute little coffee shop as well as several restaurants. Communication with the host was also very good. Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious house in a great neighborhood.

We stay in a lot of VRBO's but this house is now our favorite! There is a lot of space with the upstairs bedroom like its own oasis. There is also plenty of comfortable furniture in the livingroom. My family has four of us from 6'2"-6'6" and we fit on all the furniture and in the bathroom showers. Tall families will totally understand how awesome this is! The host was so responsive and helpful as I tried to plan my trip and kept me up to date on everything I needed to know about the house, entry and checkout. The house was a cute blend of old world charm with the great updates where we like them: the kitchen and bathrooms. Plus the host left us free coffee for our stay. You can walk anywhere in NODA in just a few minutes and are only a 15 minutes drive to uptown Charlotte. NODA is a great neighborhood with lots of fun restaurants, coffee houses, and bars! We were disappointed it rained while we were so couldn't use the backyard but it is a great space to hang out. The street is a great family neighborhood. Our daughter just moved to Charlotte so when we visit, we hope to stay in this house again!

Great family time for my son's graduation

We had a great time celebrating my son's graduation from UNCC. The kitchen was equipped for family meals. The kitchen and family room was comfortable. The bedrooms were as described... comfortable and plenty of towels. The house was spotless and well appointed. We loved being within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops and great NoDa shopping. We will definitely use this rental again.

Cozy little Noda getaway

We came into town to visit our son. The house is a former mill house. It has been updated and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all the amenities needed. We were within walking distance from many restaurants, shops and breweries. It was quiet and cozy. The owner really made check in easy. The backyard is fenced in and private. Great for families or couples.

Fantastic NoDa Getaway

We spent a very enjoyable week at this property recently and it was exactly as described. Great location with shops and restaurants as well as the train within walking distance. Super safe neighborhood with lots of families out and about all the time. Had one minor issue upon checkin but the host was incredibly responsive and resolved the issue immediately. One thing that can make a break a vacation stay for me is the quality of the mattresses (coming from a, well, middle-aged guy). These were all in great condition and very comfortable. My back was happy the entire time! :-) Great property in a great locationā€¦ we would definitely stay here again. After leaving, we spent 3 nights at the Great Wolf Lodge and we regret that decision. If I did it again, I would have spent the full 9 nights in NoDa and done a daytrip to the waterpark. Live and learn! Thanks for an amazing family vacation!

Great time to celebrate daughter's wedding

Location cannot be beat and the property was perfect for cousins to meet up before heading out to NODA or downtown. Literally 3 blocks to get into the heart of NODA. The absolute BEST beds you can ask for after grueling road trip and night parties. Justin and Alexis had on the money communication the entire time and were fantastic.
