Charming 2BR/1BA Lakefront Cottage w/ Private Beach and Dock

Welcome to ā€œTrout Pondā€ on Lake Wylie. Experience lakefront living at its best. Gaze out at scenic lake views from the large rustic deck, or stroll down to the private beach to enjoy the large floating dock.

This delightful rustic cabin has all you need to experience hiking, fishing, canoeing, birding, or just kick back and relax, surrounded by natural beauty. All this is just minutes from quaint shops and dining.

**** We are always looking for 5-Star reviews, so we continue to upgrade. New windows and doors. House newly painted. Outdoor stairs to the dock were completely rebuilt. New cedar outdoor shower. Other projects in the works: Cover for the lower dock and resurfacing of the upper dock ***

Continue to explore upstairs as you enter the spacious master bedroom with its newly appointed Queen comforter and decorative pillows. Upstairs bathroom with shower/tub and large vanity with lots of lighting and supplies. Tastefully decorated with rustic furnishings youā€™ll be delighted no matter which bedroom you choose to fall into a peaceful slumber. Sleeping arrangements are 1st bedroom with Queen bed with large 50" Smart TV, 2nd bedroom - with Queen also with large 50" Smart TV. The living room features a Queen oversized sleeper sofa and a large 55" Smart TV. This delightful natural lake cabin sleeps 6 adults comfortably in beds.

The property has a huge boat dock in deep water with a boat slip. The boat slip includes a platform ladder to climb out of the water after jumping off the dock. There is a beach for kids to play in the sand, wade in shallow water, or skip rocks.

MUST BE ABLE TO CLIMB STAIRS. This property contains many stairs. Stairs to and from the parking area to the front door. The house has stairs to the 2nd level where the bathroom and bedrooms are located. And there are stairs to and from the boat dock and beach.

What a great spot. Photos donā€™t do it justice. Open floor plan on first floor, whole place tidy and comfortable. Such a private and relaxing view above the lake, from two different levels, the patio, and then the large upper deck. We saw turtles, heron, fireflies, and the fish were jumping. Thereā€™s a covered portion of the dock with a picnic table, and a separate floating dock with a swim ladder. Jumping in the lake is recommended!

Perfect Lake Getaway

The house is really cute! Decorated stocked well with necessities. It was the perfect location right on the lake. We did not get a chance to use the patio around that over looks the lake but it has these amazing rocking chairs on. I was so impressed with the bed I am on the hunt for a bed just like it for home. It was everything we could have asked for and we will definitely be back.

Itā€™s hard to find an affordable place for a family of 5. The house was great and Allen was very responsive. There is a lot of stairs which is in the description so be aware of that. The house had everything we needed and the location is great. Youā€™ll get some great sunsets here!

Great Views and Location

Stayed here with my family and friends for a few days to relax and we had a very peaceful week. Beautiful views from the house overlooking the lake and very large dock with deck to lay out and enjoy the sunshine. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property

We had to quick trip to Rockhill for a swim meet but found this beautiful property right on the lake. The host was very responsive and helpful and the house was perfect. We hope to come back soon when it is a little warmer to enjoy it more but that didnā€™t stop my son from jumping off the dock into the freezing lake. šŸ˜ we would highly recommend this property!

An amazingly beautiful home and location!

Highly recommended, folks! This has got to be the most amazing lake house we've ever been in! The owner was great and was always available when we had questions! This is going to be our destination again once its summer time - the dock, water and view is absolutely stunning and a great place to canoe and fish with friends and family! 5 Stars, A+, 10 / 10!

Thanksgiving Stay

Stayed with my in-laws and husband for thanksgiving while visiting other family. The house was exactly as described, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was well stocked all around (only 3 towels), the kitchen was fully stocked and ready to use, there was plenty of seating and we got great use from the fireplace!

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Lake house on Wylie Lake. The house is great or 4 people and the views of the lake are amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the sun and watching people in their boats fishing. Communication with the property owner was excellent!

Wonderful stay at Steele Creeke

We had a great 3 night stay at Steele Creek. The cabin was just as advertised - with a very nice dock where we kept a 26 ft pontoon boat during our stay. Allen was an excellent host who was very responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay.
