Whether you are looking for sand and fun, or a recharging getaway, this on-the-beach SeaCabin Villa is your sublime base away from home.

Completely refurbished in 2025, this third floor condo enjoys a balcony with amazing ocean/beach views that can include dolphins, pelicans, turtles, and shrimp boats.

You'll enjoy being mere steps from the beach at the Sea Cabin Villas. Stroll down Ocean and Palm Boulevard to find all sorts of beachy cafes, eateries, shops, and a major grocery store. Lay on the beach, fly a kite, picnic, rent a paddle-board or book a charter at the IOP marina.
Your condo has two new couches (one a convertible sofa bed) , and queen mattress, new smart TVs, and total new HVAC system and water heater, and (as requested) black out curtains in the bedroom. And the complex has its own fishing pier, community pool, and laundry center. (Be aware that there is no elevator servicing the complex. )

Travel down the road to Sullivan’s island for more amazing restaurants and after-dinner sweet treats.

In neighboring Charleston, take a walk along the Battery Seawall, a carriage ride, or a tour of the old Exchange and Provost Dungeon. Don’t miss Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe on Market Street.

And finally for sports fans, see the Charleston RiverDogs, a minor league team and the Single-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays; for a game (they play April through August).

A Shaky 4 stars-needs new property management

The location of this property was great as it was close to the beach, near shops and restaurants. The complex had its own private, gated pier, which was very nice. The grocery store was within walking distance. It is also only about a 30 minute drive to the airport. It was easy to get to other attractions from here like the USS Yorktown or downtown Charleston as well as other nearby islands. The check in process was very easy and within walking distance to the villa. Parking in the complex seemed ample with no issues. I did not use the pool, but it looked nice enough from a distance. The kitchen was nicely updated and well-stocked with dishes. The bathroom was nicely updated. The posted instructions on how to turn the shower on were incorrect though. The property itself could be a lot better with a few minor improvements. If I had to guess, a lot of things have not been updated since the last update in 2015. The couches needed to be replaced. The TVs were very small and the cable did not work. The cable box on one TV was literally hanging down under the TV by a cord and had duct tape wrapped around it. The cable TV remote in the master bedroom was absolutely vile to the touch and needs to be replaced. The master bedroom has blinds in it, but the light

Great Little Condo

I've stayed at other condos in this condo community and I would say that this one is more updated than most. Great location right on the beach with ocean views. There is also a pool and laundry on the property also. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Oceanfront and convenient

The property was clean and check in was easy. The complex was clean and the security guard was friendly and helpful. The property was oceanfront which was great as we spent 5-7 hours ar the beach and were able to take bathroom breaks and grab lunch. The property was close to restaurants that were easy to walk to and the restaurants were good! We are ar Lawrence’s, Coconut Joes and IOP pizza. Overall great location and great experience!

Weekend family trip

Our family stayed for a long weekend. The condo is located on the Sea Cabins property and is within a 5 min walk to a gas station, park, and several restaurants. The condo was fairly clean and has a nice balcony facing the pier and ocean. The areas of improvement would be to fix the sliding screen door to the balcony as it was a hassle to use. The bedding was also very uncomfortable. The mattress in the bedroom is folding/collapsing in the middle and needs to be replaced as it caused back pain. The bed in the hallway was also uncomfortable and my teen had to sleep on the couch because the mattress had no cushioning or give to it. It’s a nice unit but the bedding needs work.

Ok New Years Stay

The property is like the pictures on the listing. You do have to go get your parking pass at the office at a different address before you stay at the property. We did have issues figuring out how to work the shower but after a few calls the maintenance guy called and explained it to us. Although the property is pretty the mattress is AWFUL!! There is a sag in the middle, the bed is so uncomfortable and it moves so bad if your partner moves.

Small but nice

The apartment was clean. Kitchen was well stocked (particularly for its size). From what we could tell, probably one of the nicer units. However, the apartment is very small (<400sqft) - more like an efficiency. No dining table; half a closet (at best); the double bed (it is not a queen size bed) fills the bedroom; and the twin bed is in a nook in the hall. Apartment is part of a larger complex and is next to large (and apparently very popular) public beach.

Wonder trip

We stayed for a week in April just after all the spring break crowd left and had a wonderful time! The condo was perfect, clean and well decorated, love the shower. The water and beach view from the balcony is so nice to sit and watch. You can often see dolphins just off the beach Easy access to the beach. It's a short drive to downtown Charleston and other historic sites. The check in process was a little ackward as it is offsite but not that far and not a big deal. Overall we really enjoyed the stay!

Beautiful view

The condo was nicely renovated and had a great view from the balcony but I will say though, the bed was very uncomfortable so I would recommend the owner invest in a new mattress and new sheets ( they smelled old).

Not to be missed

The property was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It was v comfortable to stay in. View from the balcony on a full-moon, hurricane warning night was a treat to witness. A response to a TV concern was answered within the half hour. Appliances worked well and there was plenty of hot water.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway for our anniversary. The condo was very clean and perfect for just the two of us. I thought it was cool that the complex had its own pier if you want to fish. However, we did have two negatives from our trip that are easily fixable. One, the window above the bed allows in way too much light. I would install some black out curtains to remedy that. Two, this was the first place I’ve ever stayed that did not have an iron and ironing board. That is all. I would recommend the location to anyone.

Weekend getaway

The check-in process was easy. The beach view was great! The condo was clean and had everything you need for a getaway! I’ve stayed at Sea Cabins many times- it’s convenient to everything and they’re on a beautiful part of the beach! My only negative is the bed is not comfortable- we embed up on the couch pullout the second night which was not much better but we had a view of the ocean.

Nice condo on Isle of Palms

I've stayed in the Sea Cabins many, many times over the years. This is one of the nicest units I have seen. It has been upgraded beautifully and unlike most units this one has a large walk in shower rather than the old tub/shower combo. Very nicely done! I'm sure the bed's mattress would be fine for some, but it is quite soft and a bit lumpy for my taste. All in all, a very nice place with lovely ocean views and close proximity to shops and several very good restaurants.
